Alright, so, gonna go and make me a bard. What would you guys recommend as the best race to use if I'm going to be a pole-armer?

Half Krol make amazing two handers/polearm users. Strength of a dwarf, speed like an elf.

Influence blows hard for a HK though.

I'd go with a elf, personally.

Elf for swing speed, Erithian for song power.
