Rosters have been announced. Par for course the list simply amazes me... this is the most retarded all star event in all of sports. Worse than the NBA even though that's not really a sport.

How does marion barber make second team over Ernie Graham?

I hate the pro bowl.

How does Fred Taylor not make it. Or 0 Jaguars at all for that matter.

It's a small-market conspiracy!

Fred Taylor and Rasheen Mathis would prolly be the choices I would make, though Spicer being a second-team DE with 7 sacks is pretty impressive. Mike Peterson would have made if he hadn't broken his hand, and even then made first alternate along with Fred Taylor.

It's not so much a conspiracy in that the fans have an equal say, and only vote for the people they see on TV every week. It's bullshit.

Fred Taylor not so much although he's having a great second half. 4 Td's 2 fumbles and 11 shit games before making any strides.

You can't really justify Taylor over Ernie Graham with a straight face can you?

Hmmm. Urlacher led the fan voting and didn't get a spot. I call shenanigans.

Im just happy Westbrook finally got voted in. He definitely deserves it.

I concur, the Pro Bowl does suck.

players, coaches, fans all get an equal say. When players and coaches realize a player didn't have a pro-bowl year, they outweigh the fan voting, but when it's "eh", players have a big say.

Rode pine????? Uh no. Ernie blasted him and most of the league in only 12 games to taylors 14 also sharing time.

Get a clue jags!

Both are on my fantasy team but the clear head and shoulders goes to Ernie.

Ernie's good....Until the Caddy puts in the garage! That's how your announcer screamed it out, until he got injured.

At Fred Taylor's pace, versus Willie Parker's actual # of carries, he'd lead the NFL by over 300 yards.

The only case that can be made for Taylor is 5.1 ypc. Yeah hes splitting time but so is Adrian Peterson and you see his results.

I dont know much of Graham really. I dont get to see many Buc games up here in Philly. His stats make me think of a Mike Alstott type player though. While they serve a purpose they arent the same type of a back as a LT, Westbrook or AP.

Adrian Peterson is sharing time like Brad Pitt is sharing time with Angela Jolie with another man like me.

Peterson - 218 att - 1,278 yds - 5.9 yds/c - 12 TD - 18.2 att/g - 106.5 yds/g
Taylor - 141 att - 747 yds - 5.3 yds/c - 7 TD - 11.8 att/g - 62.2 yds/g

Graham - 213 att - 817 yds - 4.1 yds/c - 10 TD - 15.2 att/g - 62.6 yds/g

Westbrook - 254 att - 1,191 yds - 4.7 yds/c - 7 TD - 19.5 att/g - 91.6 yds/g

Jacobs - 162 att - 799 yds - 4.9 yds/c - 2 TD - 18 att/g - 88.8 yds/g

Barber - 176 att - 871 - 4.9 yds/c - 9 TD - 12.6 att/g - 62/2 yds/g

I could make a case for a few others before Graham tbh. These are just straight rushing numbers though so not the whole picture.

Caddy is not a fan favorite here. People have been calling for his benching a long time coming to the point where his injury was thought to be a conspiracy rofl.

As it stands it's going to be near impossible to take Graham out of his role next year even if caddy is healthy. He's an all around stud that just needed his chance. And he's doing it with what can be described as a "not great" O line.

I think what this boils down to is a couple of homers here don't know much about Graham and what he's done for his team. He also has over 300 yards receiving to Taylors like 40.

If it wasn't for a couple large and lucky breakout runs Taylor would look a lot worse.

Let's not forget the bucs have played about the 5th toughest schedule this year.

To sum it up. Stfu noob :P

I do have the luxury and curse of watching almost every game every week. :(

Graham and Alstott have the "can do all well" in common.

I like the guy and think he's a great player.. but in no way better than the Graham this year.

He's having what looks like to be a great finish of the year tho coming alive in the second half.

I have to take back my Alstott comment. The more I look into it Graham is being used more like a Westbrook/Barber, only hes not as good at it.

How do you figure?

lets compare your guy to mine, Graham to Westbrook:

Rushing:

Graham - 213 att - 817 yds - 4.1 yds/c - 10 TD - 15.2 att/g - 62.6 yds/g

Westbrook - 254 att - 1,191 yds - 4.7 yds/c - 7 TD - 19.5 att/g - 91.6 yds/g

Receiving:

Graham - 47 rec - 313 yds - 6.7 yds/c - 0 TD - 22.4 yds/g

Westbrook - 83 rec - 705 yds - 8.5 yds/c - 5 TD - 54.2 yds/g

Both backs have 0 fumbles on carries and 1 after the catch so far this year(Bwest has a few more touches). Now how do you want to argue this? Which has better stats or which means more to their respective team. Either way Graham doesnt come close to Westbrook. Grats on the few extra TD's on the ground, you still lose. SCOREBOARD BITCH!

There's no way Earnest Graham is close to BWest.

Sean of the Thread
12-20-2007, 11:37 AM
In all actuality pretty damned close.

Besides the point let's all remember that I said BARBER had no point being the nfc man over Graham. Westy is doing just fine but they're very close. Can't knock one over the other in all honesty... except that the eagles suck.

Urlacher got robbed!

Even though I know you're kidding .. Urlacher didn't even deserve to be the recipient of the fan vote. Injuries aside, this wasn't a good season for him.

Had he played the season like he played the Vikings ... ya, he would have deserved a spot.
