Anyone know about the caravan outside the south gate in Icemule? I'm hearing that it's something worth checking out so I'm mildly curious. I'm just too lazy to move Aays from Teras to see what the fuss is about, so I'm asking someone else to do the work for me :D.

There were about 4-5 merchants at it last night. The ones I know of were two jewelry alterers (Sernyce & Celinde - who also did features). One spell recharger (Calak), and one seamstress (Valecia). Might be worth checking out. I'm not sure if it's going to be a month long deal or not.

Lots of mistakes. I have left my glasses at work.
I didn't check every counter or inspect items becouse I'm in a rush but just thought you can see a rough layout and shop names etc.

It takes somewhere between 21 and 32 ranks in Summoning Lore to activate it (unless the cleric I asked to try it just can't read)

Hrm. I should get mine sung to, then, because I have a straight paste from a loresong from someone, and it lists Paladins as not being able to use it.

I just uploaded the shop listings as of a few minutes ago, including a full listing of the enhancives and their effects. Thanks to all the guys who helped figure out what they all do!

You can find the listings at http://www.nilandia.com/merchants/caravan07.htm

I'll be updating the lists as I get more information, of course.

Gretchen,

In this shop:
No pockets
a sparkling eternity band of princess-cut sapphires (9.8k, fingerworn)
a delicate necklace of faceted white diamonds (10k, neckworn)
some black mithril cufflinks set with oval firestones (10.5k, wristworn)
a carmine crystal teardrop hung from a thin gold chain (6.5k, neckworn)
a silver filigree brooch set with a large aquamarine gem (7k, pinworn)
a sparkling eternity ring of princess-cut sapphires (7.5k, fingerworn)
a silver mesh bracelet with a pale chalcedony clasp (6k, wristworn)
a frosted blue glaes mobius-strip pendant (8.5k, neckworn)
a square mithglin lapel pin set with a faceted blue diamond (12k, pinworn)
a pair of peridot-beaded hoop earrings (5.5k, worn from both ears)

The eternity ring was buggy. It had a noun identity crisis and was responding to both 'ring' and 'band'. There was another band on the table but it was removed and the eternity ring is now only a ring. There's not a ring and a band there.

Tep was telling me about that buggy band...

And looking at that description of it...I have to wonder wtf my boyfriend wanted with princess-cut sapphires.

I WOULD like to make a note about that shop.

Powdered smoky glimaerstones sell in the guild shops for 2k. If you'll be needing to make the 107 potion at some point, you can buy them in bulk from this shop for 1.1k and grind them up yourself. That's such a good deal!

I mean, you can't sell them to the gemshop so they aren't any good for bounties. But I stocked up for alchemy.

Your post referred to bracers, which inspect as wrist worn (of which you have two slots). The arm greaves are arm worn (same slot as brawling vambraces) and you can only wear one pair.

So can we wear a set of arm greaves, two bracers and the full leather? Cause I think that's what I'm planning on doing.

Hey is that steel skullcap an actual helm? or a hat? I've seen some things with nouns like "skullcap" not count. I'm just worried that putting it on would take my fulls to doubles :( I'd hate to have to switch to a robe to wear it.... but... 5AS...

This enhancive item can only be used by a Master of the Council of Light.

A friend of mine brought up a very good point about this item... it basically OOC-ly shows whoever knows about it's properties that the person wearing it is a Master of the Council. Since the Council is secret, and some people roleplay that they aren't actually members, wearing something like this would completely throw that roleplay out (at least, on an OOC basis, since a lot of people will know the looks of these bracers).

I suppose this item would be excellent alter fodder, but until it gets altered, it's a prime way of knowing someone's in the Council when they're wearing it.

First, a big thank you to Gretchen and everyone else who has gathered this info.

My question is about the longevity of the enhancive items. They appear to have "a huge number of charges remaining" which is the same as the old brawling vambraces. Does anyone have a sense of how long these "huge number of charges" items last? Would it be worthwhile to remove them when resting in order to make them last longer?

I'm not positive on how long they're supposed to last, but my vambraces (that I've had since they were release) are still going, withought having been recharged. I play a fair amount, too. Removing them is a very bad idea, because every time you wear/remove them, it has a chance of losing a charge. If you just wear them, the chance to lose a charge is periodic, I believe.

This has been refuted by a GM... he said something like you are 10 times better off removing the item than continuing to wear it.

I remove my vambraces (which I altered to bracers... so now I have the bracers, and then two 'bracer' on... damnit) after every hunt and they are still going.
