But yeah, there are people in the game that I hate as a player, and that my character hates. Not always both of us. I really loathe one of my characters' best friends. He's a complete asshole, but that's just the kind of guy my character would like. And then there are other times my character really hates someone, while that person makes me as the player laugh and enjoy the game more.

For me, I think making a list would just blur the lines between player and character too much. Other people don't seem to have a problem with it, but I know myself well enough to know I would. Heh, so I don't tempt fate.

Mmmm, I curse orb gems on a regular basis for the express purpose of getting people onto my thieves list. That's a pretty long one as well. I have no problem with losing the gem.

I cast at you once, to blow your hand off, and once to stun you, as I do with any thief.

The problem I had with you was that you had your wife/girlfriend/whatever stand around next to you and threaten me while you stole, and then repeatedly try to sweep me after I took your hand, and follow me to try to do the same into the next room.

I've got the log if you'd like me to post it.

Also, no one had to tell me when you stole. It's quite obvious when you flash a pearl, put it away, and then suddenly there's a thread of brackish blue magic making someone vulnerable who is holding a pearl standing right next to you. Hmm. It's a real toughy.

1. Ganalon never flashes his take, being a master of gambits..

2. The gem was uncursed and sold way before you were able to cast limb removal on him.

3. Ganalon never admitted to taking the gem or having it in his posession when he attempted to RP it out with you. And no one saw him take it, you assumed he stole it because someone else saw him become cursed in the park... If youre going to go hunting thieves, make sure you can see them before you accuse them instead of relying in hersay.

4. I dare you to confront Ganalon in game saying he admitted he stole the gem because you saw it posted on these boards...

I'm not sure where I said I was bringing anything from the boards in character, so i'll thank you not to put words in my mouth. And yes, you did attempt to RP it out. For that I commend you. As did I. If I hadn't had an interest in RPing things out I would have stunned and diseased you to death, as it didn't carry any sort of penalty at the time. When anyone steals from me and I notice, they get stunned and lose a hand. Nor would I have spoken to you for a good five minutes beforehand if I didn't have an interest in RPing things out. I counted a total of 13 times in 2 rooms Shadya tried to sweep me after I took your hand though. 6 of those were in another room after I had been dragged away by people aware that she was being a fucking idiot.

as a side note: I no longer remove limbs for stealing. I offer the thief a chance to get the gem uncursed, whether it be an emerald or a zircon, and trade it for their life, or to consider it a deed gem. If they don't accept, I kill them.

I got Qahaar a few days ago. He stole, and I killed him for it. INSTANTLY Klaser fogs in and casts at me. He sees that my TD is out of his league, and fogs away. Qahaar later comes back and tells me that I was reported. I say, "By who, you?" He says by Klaser. I thought that was hysterical... This guy fogs in, tries to cast at me, realizes I'm out of his league, then he runs and reports?

I've taken to cursing all the junk gems I find and tossing them into my containers. Wands too, since my sorceress can use them without fear. A little extra protection and she'd get a good laugh out of the person who managed to steal it. They'd be added to my "bad" list then.

For years there was only one person in red for me, and that was Drizzsdt because he'd steal from my rogue, and stealing from rogues is bad (in my opinion).

But lately I've decided there are a few people I just don't like because they're mean to my character. Neeco comes to mind, sometimes Gizzelle but only on the amunet... definitely Jaehood. I can't think of any others.

Today I got Drektor, Masthix, and Aone all with curses. Masthix I caught in the act and now there's a warrant for his arrest, and Aone ended up dying via curse. All of my gems were cursed by Angellisa prior to the release of GS4, so the gem has a curse of like a 1000CS.

Note to thieves:
If I'm playing with a diamond in the park, it means the diamond is either blessed or poured on for recharging, and therefore untheftable. I'm trying to get you to steal from me, as a trap. Don't steal from me.
