Dude, you liked Dogma? Gross.
That's the only K-Smizzle movie I've seen, but it's stlil not my favorite. It was too stupid.
Note: It didn't offend me because I'm a Bible-thumper and, you know, they had some fun at Christianity's expense, it offended me because they did such a POOR job with the bountiful material at hand. If you can't make a good joke at Christianity's expense, you honestly should not be in a comedic business. That is all. [/note]

Dogma. It taught me everything I know about Christianity. Like one of the Muses was a stripper.
Wasn't a movie, but... I really liked the Clerks cartoon.
As far as the movies... I've only seen Dogma and Mallrats, so... I'd have to say Mallrats.

If your new nickname is fingercuffs you'd best see Chasing Amy.

Yeah, that's my point. Luckily, there's no such thing as a Muse in Christian mythology. But I am glad you've started on the path to redemption, however twisted that path may be. :saint:
p.s. Can we get a Jesus smiley? Maybe combine the saint with the goatee guy, or something?

I believe Alanis Morssette as God was a big enough joke for the whole movie. :barf:

I'd have to say Clerks... Anyone in retail has had one of those days, and it's usually when they're not even supposed to be there that day...

Clerks just for the fact that one he closed down shop to play roof hockey and two the funeral where Randal could see her nipple while laying in the coffin. Classic shit, dead guy in the toilet.
I will say Mallrats is a close runner up.

I own them all even his standup special on DVD. I would have to say Mallrats is my favorite, followed by Dogma and Jay and Silent bob, Clerks, then Chasing Amy.
Who is Kevin Smith?!

i guess never having worked in true retail, although i guess my stint in hardware and the other stint at the flourist were somewhat retail, i never really found clerks to be that good. infact id say it was my least favorite followed closely by chasing amy, sorry fingercuffs it just wasnt one of his better films.

My favorite was that one that was a sly and witty commentary on some mundane aspect of American society that we take for granted

It's amusingly relevant again with Zack and Miri make a porno premiering Friday. Keller just got lucky with his timing.

How is it I go from the verge of hot Floridian sex with brandi, to man of steel coital debates with you in the food court?
Cookie stand is not part of the food court.
Of course it is.
The food court is downstairs; The cookie stand is upstairs. We're not talking quantum physics here.
The cookie stand counts as an eatery; the eatery's part of the food court.
Bullshit. Eateries that operate within the square downstairs qualify as food court. Anything outside of said designated square Is considered an autonomous unit for mid-mall snacking.
I <3 Mallrats.

Listen, not a year goes by, not a year, that I don't hear about some escalator accident involving some bastard kid which could have easily been avoided had some parent - I don't care which one - but some parent conditioned him to fear and respect that escalator.

One time my cousin Walter got this cat stuck up his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall, so the whole fiasco wound up on the news. It was embarrasing for my relatives and all, but next week, he did it again. Different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room. So, I run into him a week later in the mall and he's buying another cat. And I says to him, "Jesus, Walt! What are you doing? You know you're just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too. Why don't you knock it off?" And he said to me, "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy.
That's how you open a movie.

But my cousin Walter jerked off in public once. True story. He was on a plane to New Mexico when all of the sudden the hydraulics went. The plane started spinning around, going out of control, so he decides it's all over and whips it out and starts beating it right there. So all the other passengers take a cue from him and they start whipping it out and beating like mad. So all the passengers are beating off, plummeting to their certain doom, when all of the sudden, snap! The hydraulics kick back in. The plane rights itself and it land safely and everyone puts their pieces or, whatever, you know, away and deboard. No one mentions the phenomenon to anyone else.
And that's how you end it.

Torn between Clerks and Mallrats. Dogma follows. Then say, Clerks 2 and the cartoon in a kinda middle space. Chasing Amy's above Jay and Silent Bob which is above Jersey Girl for the lousy ones.
