As I mentioned in a previous post that my WoW account had been hacked.

I managed to get in touch with customer service quickly and block access/change passwords.

I loggged on today and discovered that whomever hacked my account renewed/paid for a 3 month subscription as well as signed up for the Burning Crusaide.

I would personally like to thank whoever hacked my account, because now I have a free 3 months ($40 something value) and a free download of the burning crusaide (1.6gb) software (a $29.95 value).

Merry Christmas!

Had to go back in and set up the port settings again (new router since last update/play of wow).

I like my new Netgear router.

LOL, another update.

My secondary characters remain untouched.

My oldest character, warlock - alliance, I left him just a little over 40. Logged him on today and he's 60... and he's got a steed (in addition to shadowsteed) and almost 300 gold... plus about 25 expired auction items in the mailbox.

Someone's been busy.

I have no idea where/what honor hold is... not to mention all the new spells and abilities.

Too funny.

Looks like that was money well spent on powerlevelling.

Sean2 wanted to give you the Gift of Love... he just couldn't tell you about what he felt... about the time you two spent on Warcraft Mountain.

You're still living in your guy on guy dreams. You might roll like that, but I dont.

Freak.

Somebody got Zimzum'd!!!

Thats the great part. I'm on the up side for 3 months free subscription and a free upgrade to the burning crusaide. Not to mention an additional 19 levels added to my character, completion of herbology, lots of mats and gear in the locker, about 400+ gold, an epic(?) mount (swift palamino) and the riding skill necessary to ride it.

SCORE!

Too bad he left my primary on the original server, I was hoping for a move.

I'm kind of confused. How did someone manage to do so much if you sent a message to customer service as soon as you realized something was up?

I'm guessing his account has been closed (or so he thought) for some time before reactivating (attempting to) and realizing the problem.

From what the CS said, this was the 2nd time the password was reset without my authorization. If I got an earlier message, it went to a spam folder because I dont recall getting it.

The account had not been reinitiated by me for almost 12 months prior to this past week.
