TWC question

I have a level 20 rogue who swings a katar and a troll-claw at 4 seconds. He has a combined Agility and Dexterity bonus of 33.

I also have a level 4 paladin who swings a katar and troll-claw at 5 seconds. His combined agility and dexterity are at a bonus of 30.

and both same race

The combined bonus should give me minus two from the found time; both are unencumbered and over trained for their armor. Any ideas why the paladin is swinging with a 1 second slower round time than the rogue? Its been bothering the hell out of me.

Without looking up the numbers, isn't 33 the threshold for dropping a second? Something like 8, 15, 33?

8 for first second and 15 for every after...
8, 23, 38, 53, 78

The most likely possibility from what you've stated is that the paladin is experiencing a penalty for using a weapon too heavy for his or her strength bonus. Weigh the weapons and cite strength bonuses for each and we'll see what's what.
