The documentation for Atlas is in its first draft at:
http://psinfinity.net/wiki/index.php/Atlas
This documentation includes explanations of the interface, terminology, and of advanced mapping in atypical areas (duplicate rooms).
There are currently 1422 rooms mapped, which is most of the landing, kharam'dzu, and solhaven. It has the tail between solhaven and landing, and the entire map outside the landing gates mapped. A fair chunk of the broken lands and trollfang are mapped as well.
At this point it seems that the major problems have all been solved. Right now I'm just waiting on mapping to be a little more complete and fixing little bugs as they pop up. Thanks to the people who have generously decided to contribute to the mapping effort (most notably Eldrec who has plotted about 20 times as many rooms as I have), this might not take very long at all. There's also a system for delivering Atlas data updates to people on the fly, so even once it's released, there'll still be fixes and additional mapping going on.
PsiNet users interested in testing should contact me via chat.
