Seriously... what the heck. I actually don't think this is a bot, just someone with a poor grasp of the english language (Foxs is a good guess).
As for the thread (because it actually is a good one), Cambridge Brewing Company Brew Years Even party!! Wooooo, tons of booze and a bottle of barley wine to bring home.
Use all my free time to practice guitar. Become as good as I've wanted to be since I was 13 but only got halfway there.
Think about nothing else while I work and eventually, get something going with it. Make a career out of guitar and vocals so far from the likes of James Blunt that I'll be happy with myself and not feel I've wasted another year.
Oh, and of course get completely battered like tradition on absinthe, and dance to the Final Countdown with experimental shapes which no mortal man could ever aspire to.

I'm planning to do mostly the same crap I did in 07.
In the spirit of the thread's posed intent:
2008 Considerations:
Continue building/running my ebusiness.
Continue working for my current employer, look at upcoming options for advancement.
Taking 3 accounting/finance classes for professional enrichment (small business focus).
Refocus on unfinished home improvement projects.
Clean out the garage, have garage sale, or massive trip to city dump.
Take piano lessons with my son starting in Q3.

-Repasar mi español
-Learning to play the guitar
-Improving my workout plan from '07
-Study for and take the GMAT

I can tell you this ... there is nothing like learning something new with your kid(s).
It puts you on the same level and gives you a huge appreciation for their intelligence, something we take for granted as adults.
Taking up the guitar with my eldest daughter was probably the smartest thing I've done as a father.

- Buy a commercial kitchen so I don't have to rent anymore.
- Get my webselling going.
- Move to Vegas
- Start training for a marathon, any marathon, because I've put it off for a year.

I'm going to stop playing or seriously play less Gemstone (can you tell?)
Just going to live life more. Not that Gemstone isn't/wasn't fun, I'll never knock it, just moving to other things.
Definately a whole new world when you trade GS time for something more.. RL.
You might be back, but you'll feel better when/if you do.

Agree 100%
And as a coincidence my eldest daughter and I are starting guitar as well.

New Year's stuff:
1. Seeing the first ever outdoor regulation NHL game, Sabres v. Penguins, at Ralph Wilson stadium in Buffalo!!!! WOOOOOOOO.
2. Surviving 2L year/getting a PI job for 2L summer/starting 3L year.
3. Going to my 5 year (gulp!) college reunion.
4. Getting back in the gym at some point.
5. I want to learn an instrument. Maybe guitar. I'd have to invest in a left-handed one, which is usually my excuse to forego anything that involves handed equipment you have to buy.
6. Get a job next fall with the Manhattan DA (though Morgy's leaving... :( )
7. Fuckin' Artha's bitches.
8. Gankin' Artha's cash.

New Year's stuff:To add to the crushination of Eschaton's hopes, #1 is not possible either, as there was an outdoor game 4 years ago between the Oilers and the Canadiens.
Also, for #5, you don't really need a left-handed guitar if you're left-handed. Worst comes to worst you could just string a right-handed guitar upside down.

NEW YORK– The Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins will make National Hockey League history on New Year’s Day, 2008, when they play in the AMP Energy NHL Winter Classic, the League’s first regular-season outdoor game in the United States.
While normally I would say Canada doesn't count, this is hockey, and I am thus mistaken. The ads only say United States! Booo..I naturally thought that meant "in the whole NHL" cause there's like, what, 3 Canadian teams left?

Unless you're tone deaf, or plan on completely screwing up your ear (you'll train it to understand offkey dead notes as "good") ... or just enjoy the hell out of fighting to keep your guitar remotely in tune ... get a left handed guitar.

Well, I'm going to get married in march of next year. We are planning to save money this year to move to Omaha in 2009 and buy a house. I'm planning to go to school to learn more in my field (I got my job on the skills I already had, thanks to my grandmothers.) and also I'd like to lose a little more weight, I lost a ton last year and I've kept it off, also planning to train for a 65 mile bike ride next summer, yay!

-TheE-Senators, Canadiens, Canucks, Oilers, Maple Leafs, Flames. 6 out of the current NHL total of 57 teams.

Aren't the Dolphins going to be demoted to the AFL at this rate?
