Infantry Online

SOE(Sony Online Entertainment) recently made this game free(again). From what I've heard it is a lot like the game Soldat, if anyone has played that. IO is a top-down sci-fi space shooter. Lot's of fun.

If you do decide to play, I would suggest reading the FAQ on their forum about how to set up your keyboard macros which is a big part of the game. Also, if you have never played I would suggest trying the Skirmish map first. This game is a bit harsh on newbs so that is a good starting point, then CTF maps are where you can go after you get a bit of a hang of it.

I used to play this game, and actually Volunteer myself on working with it, back when it was originally owned by Harmless Games LLC. Most old old vets like myself and even the original producers are no longer with the game sadly, however I hear Judicator is still with them.

If you're wondering, I went by the name "Mako" when I did play Infantry. Fun Game, it's just a shame they don't have any TP Map anymore :(
