As a two handed weapon swinging warrior, I'm just wondering how important doubling in dodge may be...my training right now is
Armor Use x3
Combat Maneuvers x2
Two-Handed Weapons x2
Ambush Have had enough points for two ranks
Physical Fitness x2
Dodging x2
Survival x1
Perception x1
Climbing 5 ranks so far
First Aid x1
I am wondering if that is significantly better then 1x in ambush, 1x in MOC, and 1x in dodge OR 3x PF and 1x dodge. Any input would be great, thanks!

What level, what armor are you in, how's your AS/DS, assuming warrior... race? Stats wouldn't hurt to share either. What would you say is your biggest drawback/detriment?
Dodge is big DS... if you don't need as much DS you can consider lowering it, you'll see something like 0.6 DS per rank you drop lost in guarded stance.

ah, sorry, lots of missin info I guess, Half-Krolvin, still in my grace period so stats are weighted to physical, level 16, will be in hauberk at 18 when I've trained off the movement penalties, in chainmail right now. but stats are:
Strength (STR): 88 (29) ... 88 (29)
Constitution (CON): 95 (32) ... 95 (32)
Dexterity (DEX): 95 (22) ... 95 (22)
Agility (AGI): 95 (27) ... 95 (27)
Discipline (DIS): 65 (7) ... 65 (7)
Aura (AUR): 73 (11) ... 73 (11)
Logic (LOG): 100 (15) ... 100 (15)
Intuition (INT): 43 (-3) ... 43 (-3)
Wisdom (WIS): 38 (-11) ... 38 (-11)
Influence (INF): 36 (-12) ... 36 (-12)
and will be changed to be generally maxed at cap, except for infuence.

From my limited Warrior experience, I'd think you want either 2x shield, or 2x dodge at all times.

You can get by with less than 2x dodge. Especially at early levels I would avoid going below 2x though. You don't have redux, you have crappy armor (hauberk? ugh), and you don't have really reliable maneuvers.

So it's not like you're relying on Redux at this point, as DS is still your main form of defense I would say not to mess with it... you can start to ease back on dodge and pick up the other skills as your DS becomes less of the mainstay... but I wouldn't actually untrain it at any point.

Anyone have some 5x MBP they wanna trade me for my 5x hauberk (that's the reason I'm stepping into hauberk)? :)

I'd wear 2.5x MBP before I wore 5x hauberk.

Speaking of dodging, question.
I fixskilled (poles to 2hders) the other day and backed out some ranks of dodge.
Now I'm noticing that the creatures are dodging my hits a lot more. I did change from awl-pike to mattock, but it shouldn't be that much of a change.
Anyone know or heard if my dodge skill plays a factor in whether creatures dodge? FIgured it can only be the dodge ranks or the weapon change.

Just bad luck I'd imagine.

Bad luck plus paying more attention after the weapon change.
