I already accomplished today's awesomeness which was driving down Whitney where they're doing construction and having some dude in a Beamer honk as he tried to merge back in to cut like, 2 car lengths because of construction ahead that you can see from Chapel.

I expected to be honked as he merged into my lane. I think what he didn't expect was for me honk back, once. But for about twenty to twenty-five seconds, I believe. The greatest thing must've been my facial expression if he checked it out in his rear view. Usually people flip me off and I wave to them and blow kisses; this time though, I sort of let my facial expression relax into a look of apathy with the whole I-could-brutally-murder-you-right-now-and-maintain-a-70-beats-per-minute-calmly-psychotic-pulse-during-your-disembowelment plastered gaze.

People from Connecticut don't not know how to drive, the problem is that they are so far off the curve that it really takes almost no conscious effort trying to fit in.

Finished an order of 2000 truffles and delivered them today. Was a total pain in the ass but worth it for the payoff. I will be happy when I have my own commercial kitchen to work in with my own equipment.

Took care of Mike who is still wiped with the flu. He's been cranky but seems happy that we're actually putting up the Christmas tree tonight.

Mike's sister's 21st birthday is today and called us last minute to go to a dance club for her party. She then threw a hissy-fit and we had about ten of his relatives calling our house yelling at us because we declined-- because Mike is sick, because I'm tired from filling and dipping truffles and keeping chocolate tempered all day, and because she never gives us any notice and doesn't show up to our shit when we give her plenty of time.

Oh well.

Today is pay day - YAY! That means I get to go shopping!!! Just woke up and am waiting for the hubby to get home from work. I'll probaby cook him breakfast again.

Then we're going to head out to the mall later on and shop for some Christmas gifts and clothes for me (hah I already can't button the top button on most of my pants anymore - guess I just buy bigger sized jeans until I REALLY need maternity ones).

Then we'll probably catch a movie and have some yummy dinner that we were planning and sit around afterwards and do a whole lotta nothing.

I love days off.

Maybe I'm just weird.

Given she told us a few days ago she wasn't planning on doing anything until Friday (today) because she had class, no, it didn't, it was more a case of her being fickle and not letting us know till last minute.

Beyond that, my boyfriend is sick-- as in flu, puking sick. The last thing he wants is to go sit in a loud crowded dance club with his sister, all her friends, and her annoying boyfriend while she gets drunk enough to do something stupid and pass-out. 21st birthday is more a friend birthday than a family birthday anyway.

But thanks for your concern. :)

Bad morning.

I put the brakes on a deal that was suspicious in legality and then had to listen to the agent and mortgage broker scream, whine, and then try to blame me for possibly blowing the deal. At one point the agent called me a liar and then a bigot when I said we would not be bully'ed into closing a questionable transaction without further clarification in written form (amended contract) and that no documents would be signed/notarized post-dated to yesterday.

Also had to meet with a pervious client and his attorney on a tax issue where the former client fraudently represented himself to the county taxing authority for additional tax exemptions - which we caught and corrected and withheld funds from his closing proceeds in order to pay the delinquent taxes, which we are bound to do so by law.

I'm having a margarita with lunch today. Thank God its Friday.

It is in no way your fault, Tayvin. You are no thief, nor do I believe you lied or concealed this information.

At 1.5x in MIU, I am losing about 12 minutes off the duration of an item providing a spell I can just MA to stack to four hours whenever I please. At 2x MIU, which is a COMPLETE waste otherwise for my build, I will likely be losing over 20 minutes of a spell I can only use 3 times a day. That is like a full fourth charge I am losing out on.

Retarded. WHY nerf it other than to encourage MAing?

Then after tile is set, cured, and then grouted I'll install the new toilete and pedestal sink (and new faucet) along with adding beadboard on lower half of bathroom walls. Then I get to add a power outlet on the wall where the large mirror used to be. Then new lighting fixtures will be connected.

Funny you say that... the reason Panera was chosen was that I was at the desk of a coworker who had the mapquest directions to panera printed out and posted on his wall, I was making fun of him for it... and he's also the one whom I call random girls names akin to Dr. Cox (but not nearly his skill level)
