Description - Overlapping scales of blackened iron are joined together to encase the surface of a hardened leather breastplate, forming the protective surface of this armor. Various straps, buckles, and lashings are found running along the inner and outward edges of the leather surface, allowing the user a perfected fit and positioning. Scorched into the thick leather which cover the armor's chest are three golden rune-incised rings. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
Inspect - Your careful inspection of a strap-laden suit of elven hunts allows you to conclude that it is rigid leather armor that covers the torso only.
You determine that you could wear the hunts around your chest.
Warrior Assess - Examining the hunts closely, it looks like it's very heavily padded against critical blows.
Loresong - The first thing that strikes you about the hunts is the weight, which is about 9 pounds. You tremble and can barely hold onto the suit of elven hunts. You estimate it must be worth over a hundred million silvers!
It has a bonus of +35 from a normal hunts, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it is rigid leather armor. It also has some type of special ability, but you can't tell what yet. The suit of elven hunts seems to have some sort of unusual protection against damage.
As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the suit of elven hunts in your hand...
The harmonics generated tell you that the hunts serves to reduce the severity of inflicted wounds.
As your song penetrates the suit of elven hunts, you determine that it is resistant to fiery attacks.
