Besides the captain obvious answer of mithril/enruned, which boxes can NOT be opened using 125? I know of Glyphs, are there any others, if so can someone post their messaging?

That's all of them.

Isn't there another, where a sprung trap like a needle or jaws also repels magic?

What's the actual messaging for glyphs again?
---> Playing dumb.

I think it reflects the lightning towards a random person in the room...but is the question what the trap looks like when you disarm?...or what it looks like if you try to blast it?

Yes.

something like small spiderweb like glyphs on the lockplate....or something of that nature...maybe there's a rogue with a log or that has recently disarmed one with the actual messaging.

"You notice some spiderweb-like scratches on the lock plate"...there ya go...was in DrunkinDurfin's script for auto picking.

Can't get Rift traps, either?

If you bungle a trap, as in you attempt to disarm it and fail so it triggers, you can no longer attempt to open it via Call Lightning. It will reflect back at you.
Also, manually disarming a glyph trap STILL isn't enough to open the box via Call Lightning.

I 416'd the box, obviously opening the Rift. At this point, it's no longer 125-able?

A glyph trap on a box is in NO WAY able to be opened via 125. Fresh, disarmed, or otherwise.

I was referring to the Rift boxes.

I'm sorry, what is the difference between a rift box and a glyph box? Is a Rift Trap a type of sphere trap? If so, i've NEVER had a sphere trap reflect upon me, though I never tried to disarm one.

Heh, one is DETECTED.
I 416'd these like a dumbass. Nvm.

Glyph = rift.
They are the same trap. You see a glyph when detecting/disarming/etc., but if you set it off, the effect is that you are put into a rift.
Arcane Symbols helps a lot in making these easier to disarm. I think I have 35ish ranks and I've rarely seen Ithzir boxes with glyphs bigger than -300 or so, whereas most of the other traps I've seen can be up to -480. I think its probably a combination of them being easier difficulty on average and my ranks in Arcane Symbols lowering the difficulty.

That's not exactly the way I was going for it.
I'm trying to save myself from having to run back from OTF every 5-7 minutes from boxes, so I'm trying the 125 method. For mithril/enruned/glyphs I have a locksmith pick them, but on a grind night I can get 30-40 boxes without qualms. My lockers fill quicker than I can promise the locksmith e-lovin ( hah ) for the favor.
Fin.
