Lately we've seen a few self mana items going around. I would like to know what self mana spell items are known to exist currently or in the past?

Is there a 704 item?

I would not be surprised to find every spell on a self-mana or self-charging item.

I have a 2x Major Sanctuary and a 5x Spell Shield.

I personally have owned or been loaned bravery, strength, song of mirrors, light blues and camoflage self mana or perma items.

unlimited use items > all

there's no phase item that I know of. It was never a very useful spell up until very recently; so I'm not surprised.

I'd love to see it now though.

unlimited use items > all

I disagree. Items that give you enhancive knowledge of the spell are affected by lores, and while they have a mana cost, can be WAY more powerful than the base benefits of the spell, even with a 0 mana cost factored into the equation.

Unless, that is what you meant by "unlimited use" items. I doubt it, though. You're talking about the unlimited use 905 runestone type items.

I dunno I rather like items that take neither skill nor mana to use and dont take nerve state into account

Useful, but again, think of an enhancive Divine Shield item on a warrior who can actually train in the lores at post cap to raise the block ratio even higher. Couple that with it being a Tower shield (which I believe the item is), 3x Shield use, and Block mastery...you can begin to see where things get a bit unbalanced.

I wasn't aware that they didn't take nerve state into account. Looking at the argument objectively, irregular lore training really favors those near/post cap anyway, so you may be right.

sorta depends on the item on a case by case basis, my favorite item is an unlimited use no skill needed guidance item.

I will certainly agree to that.

I never bought one of the perma items, because I always figured they would get nerfed. Still not sure how they haven't been.

the ones i know of are treated in such a way that they aren't unbalancing and therefore don't need to be nerfed.

in other words they arent treated like Tsin treats a lot of his crap which winds up with it requiring to be nerfed (passed and used continously between 6 zombie characters every hunt for 14 hours a day).

I actually considered purchasing that damn buckler knowing at some point I was going to get the lore needed for the other ranger spells.

Do you know who has it now? I've been looking to track it down. I thought Eugenides had it, but he has since disappeared off the boards.

<3 irregular lore training...and I would do it, if only I could find a useful item in order to play in the big leagues.

Speaking of runestones, wasn't there a special runestone for cleric and empath 218 that would mass heal/mass raise 1x/day?

if so, who currently owns those?

Yeah, it was on sale on these boards less than 2 months ago I think. I almost bought it, but I don't play enough to justify a mass raise runestone.

A OTF hunter owns one of them, I remember the look of the spirit. Can't be sure who, I want to say Windi.

I own the "heal all wounds/scars in the room" runestone that empaths use.
