I've been premium for three years or so now and I see people tallking about gift box items from time to time. I've never used my premium points and have no idea what a gift box item is. Anyone care to explain. Thanks in advance.

Maybe you're referring to something completely different, but you used to be able to type "Giftbox" in game and get a box with some potion and an enhansive. That worked with basic accounts also. They have since done away with that.

The "giftbox" verb was for accounts that were active during the GS3 to GS4 conversion. You could get one per account.

It contained a +20 dodge skill potion and an enhancive item that gave +5 to two stats based on profession.

They are popular because they can be recharged via bounty points.
