Shield Bash vs. Bull Rush

Anyone use shield bash and or bull rush? Which one is better? Whats the RT like on both of them and which have better success? Clips of shield bash would be great.

I tend to use bull rush more(I rarely make a character that uses a shield), but if you get SBash, go for SCharge.

Shield bash is better after the cman review, but I don't know if its that reliable of a knockdown manuever still. (I switched my OHE/shield warrior to TWC katars right after the review)

However, a spiked or flaring shield with it is fairly nice.

i've heard nothing but good things about the shield maneuvers.

Eh. As a capped sorcerer, I was in defensive and a capped warrior with damn near 3x Shield Use and 5 ranks of the maneuver coudn't hit me. She would need to stance me first.

I guess that is only CvC, but I wasn't impressed.

The shield maneuvers are okay...you can hunt to OTF with them decently. The problem is they require shield use.

Shield bash is an extremely reliable knockdown maneuver. Bull rush is better as a pure knockdown, but shield bash does more than just knock down. A very high open roll with bullrush isn't any better than a 180: a very high open roll with shield bash stands a very good chance of death critting.

I haven't played with shield charge since before the review.

it's bash but on crack, from what i gathered.

I'd say go with staggering blow. Knock that punk to the next room!
