Is there anything we (Well, I mean you Kranar) can do about the spam that comes here? I belong to a couple forums.. and one of the better ones utilizes email addresses as a way to 'verify' the author. It sends you an email to the address you provided to allow you to then post in the forums. Without this, you remain a guest with no posting ability.

I realize email is free and easy to obtain.. but it would force them to give us their email address which we could in turn bomb the shit out of.

Yeah we can do e-mail verification but I figure that's a nuisance, ontop of that, these spammers do provide a valid e-mail address and they're often from a Russian domain. I doubt bombing the address will do them any harm.
