What's the going rate on these? I've never bought/sold one. Only have had one through trades. Thanks!

is it steel, or a magical metal?

Steel, but once it has an enchant, isn't it all the same?

People will pay more for a magical metal though.

Well that's just odd. Steel is sexy. so is iron. Regardless, what is the going rate then?

I'm not sure how true it is, but rumor is steel enchanted weapons will not be as nice as "magic" metal weapons. Why would anyone even use a magic metal to forge with, were that the case?

Because back in the day wizard enchanted things could not be blessed which made vultite have some use. Now, it doesn't, unless you favor vultite.

that "rumor" is basically the forging alliance who want to keep coming up with a reason for people to pay 4m for a perfect 4x dagger. No one has said anything else to the contrary.

I think last one I saw was a +32 perfect imflass greataxe for 12m or so.
So +30, steel, and dagger base would probably be less. Maybe 8?

Yeah... me personally, I prefer steel. I actually like having gear that "looks newbie" but is mage-enchanted. (Helps that it's also cheaper since I have an enchanter myself.)
One of my characters is running around with a 4x "wooden shield". No joke.
I'm in the market for superior / perfect forged steel longswords actually.... and I prefer them unenchanted. whitestar77@earthlink.net ...

Do you not know how to look at the date of a post/thread to see how old it is?
