My son. 5 years old, in pre-kindergarten at a private school...
Got a call from my son's teacher (two teachers in his class) who said he was involved in an incident today in the school cafeteria.
Seems a small group of boys decided to stand up on their chairs and moon, yes I said moon, the other students who were eating lunch. Evidentally the boys all thought it would be a lark to do so.
No ring leader has been identified yet. According to eye witness accounts my son was one of the 'followers' in this incident.
Either way this prompted a phone call from the teacher's office to me at work. I was afforded the opportunity to 'talk' with my son during this call and I spoke with him briefly admonishing what he did and reiterating the need to make good choices when behaving appropriately at school.
I'm still laughing at it though. The mrs. took it a little differently of course. And while mooning isnt something thats practiced at home, I find it kinda funny in an adolscent way. I'm still waiting for the phone call when he asks his teacher to pull his finger...
Its fun being a dad. :)
