Patriots have officially reached the highest point spread in NFL HISTORY since the 1976 defending SB champ Steelers played the expansion Bucs at -24. (who was winless their first year when all said and done)

Line has been hovering around -25 -25 1/2 today. Simply amazing. WTF is the line going to come out as against the FINS and JETS...!!?!? 30? There is going to be a huge revenge factor against the jets at least.. and the fins are just plain fucking awful. What a year we're having.

Hate em or love em this team is going down in the books as one of the greatest. (I hate them)

So here is your poll:

Can the Patsies cover -25?

I say no. Though the Eagles both suck and blow at the same time.

I didnt think so at first, but then started thinking about the fact that they have 9 wins with -25 this year. The only one not being -25 is the Colts. On top of that, I hear rumor that McNaab might be out and Feely might be in?

Pats -25

I'll take the Pats to cover.

Well vote in the poll sillies.

They're 9-1 against the spread this year.. with the one non cover coming from the colts game.

Each week the line creeps higher and higher... linemakers can't get a handle on them.

Watching the line movements so far and it appears as the big late money is going on eggles. Food for thought I guess. It is a shit fu ck of points.

The tough part will be to guess when the Patriots stop running up the score and start resting starters for the playoffs. I don't get why it's taken so long for lines like this to happen to be honest.

Against the Jets I wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots win by 50.

The Patriots won't rest until they've secured home field advantage, so that's currently Week 14.

They will pound the Eagles and cover this, McNabb is hurt and they're just going to key on Westbrook since no one else on that offense is worth salt.

I fully expect the true reaming to be Pats vs. Jets though, I'm looking forward to that.

The Pats will cover tonight.

This ain't college football. The worst team in the NFL is still made up of good football players. No way a team wins by 50, even the Pats.

The Patriots beat the Bills by 46 and the Redskins by 45. I would say the Jets are significantly worse than both those teams, and as was previously mentioned the game plays into the Patriots' comical "HEY, YOU GUYS SHUT UP" mentality perhaps more than any other.

I'm not certain but I've got a feeling that Vegas at least takes the Patriots off the board vs MIA and J-E-T-S jets jets jets.

My local already had a $200 limit on sides for them tonight for the first time. Rofl... chicken shit!

Is there a bet you can make on whether or not Brady gets taken out? That'd be a bit more interesting, I'd think (that's the other side of the Pats v. Jets game I'm looking forward to).

Everybody tries to put the hurt on Brady, the only thing the Jets are going to do differently is look foolish while trying.

One of the rarest times EVER that you'll see me root for them.

The only team I hate more than the eggles = Patriots.

This is one of the rare moments I'll root for the eggles. Sorta like I root for anyone thats playing the Yankees and anyone that's playing the bosox that are not teh yankees.

Feeling the heat! Brady represents everything that is wrong with America. Pretty white boy. I hope the much less pretty Aj. Feeley busts his ass.

I'd ask to expand on what exactly "everything wrong with America" is, but I know better.

So long as other teams aren't able to effectively replicate the game plan the Eagles used, this will probably end up helping the Pats. Wakes them up without losing their chance at an undefeated season.

If the Eagles won there would have been one hell of a QB controversy.

I think there might be anyway. AJ is white you know.

Everybody tries to put the hurt on Brady, the only thing the Jets are going to do differently is look foolish while trying.Everyone else so far has pretty much played by the rules in doing so, though. It's not hard to conceive of things going beyond chippy in the Pats/Jets game (which is unfortunate).
