an expansive riverstone villa

[Home]
Walls of blue granite pilaster-set and an elaborate black marble floor covered by a blackworked cerulean runner enclose this room. In one corner lies a royal blue silk-draped bed, and near the bed sits a polished dark felwood table. Above a grim-looking stone fireplace covered in indecipherable runes hangs a trio of carved native masks. The room holds a mild scent of incense. You also see a cerulean silk upholstered chair that is facing the fireplace, a cerulean silk upholstered chair that is facing the fireplace, a dark brocade-draped window, a cerulean silk upholstered chair that is facing the table and a herringbone oak parquet door.

[Narcissiia's Home]
A faint scent of cinnamon fills this room. Its carpet-covered cream-colored marble floor supports a large fluffy down bed and a polished linden tea table, and the area is enclosed by walls of deep purple marble. A gilded cream marble fireplace sits at the far wall, above it hanging a cloud-wrapped mountaintop painting. You also see an elegant bay window, a high-backed pale linden chair and a fel-inlaid pale linden door.

[Hart Lodge, Greatroom]
Polished oak paneling skirts the lodge, contrasting with green trim and upholstery on the generous leather armchairs and sofa. A massive trestle table occupies one of the room's ends, flanked by a number of carved oak chairs. Green velvet draperies on the room's opposite end curtain off a large, carved bed built into the corner. A stone hearth dominates all, occupying the long wall across from the door. Above the hearth, an immense elk trophy surveys its domain with a solemn gaze. You also see a basket of sticks, a massive wooden door and a large oak armoire.

Several plump feather pillows sit invitingly on top of the crisp white bed linen and a clean, faded patchwork quilt in autumnal hues is folded neatly at the foot.

On the trestle table you see a hunk of crusty bread, a small slab of farmer's cheese, a mug of amber harvest mead, a goblet of rich red merlot, a slice of rich gravy-soaked venison and a sugar-dusted apple and fig pastry.

A hand-fitted fieldstone floor spreads across this room into surrounding walls of blue watered silk. A grey granite carved gargoyle fireplace, a gold leaf framed mirror hanging above it, stands guard over the large pile of black silken pillows and long ebony refectory table that rest upon a fancifully decorated elven rug covering the floor. A mild scent of incense fills the air.

Yeah, if homes ever come with anything utilitarian (lockers, added bonus for enchanting, etc) will Jesae ever own a home.

I really hope that with home updates they are made more worthwhile, mechanically. Having a home as an RP tool has been invaluable to me at times, however. :D

an ivy-covered riverstone chateau

Walls of textured black silk and an inlaid-jade black onyx floor covered by a fancifully decorated elven rug enclose this room. In one corner lies a silk-draped four poster bed, and near the bed sits an onyx-inlaid blackened monir table. Above an elven enruned oak fireplace hangs an intricately carved jade mirror. The room holds a lingering scent of jasmine. You also see a graceful bay window, a sabre-legged black silk settee that is facing the fireplace and a jade-inlaid oak door.

A parquet polished oak floor spreads across this room into surrounding walls of textured black silk. An elven enruned oak fireplace, an oval silver-framed mirror hanging above it, stands guard over the tremendous satin covered featherbed and finely carved oaken table that rest upon a star-speckled black tapestry carpet covering the floor. A mild scent of sandalwood fills the air. You also see a black velvet-draped window, a black velvet wing-back chair and an elegant oak door.

You peer out the window, and see:
[Woodland Glade, Spring]
The spring is clear and cold, its water a shade of blue broken by the color spectrum of all its surroundings. Ferns arch impossibly long fronds over it, nourished by its bounty and protective of its borders. In the depths of the pool, flashes indicate the presence of fish, dancing beneath the surface in play. Over the still surface of the water, birds chatter and fuss, filling the glade with their song and the rustle of their flight. You also see an ivy-covered carved wood chateau, an ancient riverstone cabin, an ivy-covered grey stone cabin, a plain chateau and a plain lodge.

a cozy wood and stone bungalow

A soft cotton rug adorns the dark fel floor of this small room. A narrow sandstone fireplace, a symbol of Leya tapestry hanging above it, rests between a large fluffy down bed and a large oaken dining table pushed up against the smooth sandstone walls. The room holds a slight scent of sweet violets. You also see a small square window, a scarlet silk upholstered chair that is facing the window and a panelled rosewood door.

First time I've been in my home in ages. I need a new door and something to replace the estate owners plaque.

You open the door to a rune-carved granite block chalet.

[Tayvin's Home]
A mild scent of seawater fills this room. Its rug-covered swirled sea glass floor supports a satin-covered raised featherbed and an elegant black walnut desk, and the area is enclosed by walls of rough-hewn oak. A grim-looking stone fireplace covered in indecipherable runes sits at the far wall, above it hanging an Estate Holder plaque. You also see a scruffy mutt, an expansive bay window, a black leather reclining chair and a door.

You peer out the window, and see:
[North Shore, Tide Pool]
The pounding surf has cut deeper inland forming a tidal pool. Starfish, scurrying crabs and tiny silvery fish can be found swimming in these clear swirling waters. The water here looks deep enough for swimming. You also see a gated gold sandstone villa, an ancient black oak treehouse, an expansive white marble chateau, a swirling tidal pool, a rune-carved granite block chalet and an ivy-covered white stone villa.

[Arulisse's Home]
A fluffy polar bear rug adorns the lustrous stained cedar floor of this room. A suspended pierced brass brazier, a beautiful silver filigree mirror hanging above it, rests between a heap of pale gold silk cushions and an overturned tea chest pushed up against the colorfully frescoed walls. The room holds a faint scent of cinnamon. You also see an elegant bay window, a bun-footed red velvet settee and a rounded rich red cedar door.

[The Ponzzz]

[A Steep Trail]
The icy air grows thin at this altitude, making any exertion difficult. High above, the trail opens out onto a wide, snow-blanketed plain. A lone fir tree climbs precariously to the trail side, bent close to the ground from years of pummeling by the deadly winter winds. Nestled against the mountain, a dark tower stands within the shadow of the peak like a spectral sentinel watching the trail.
Obvious paths: up, down

[Dark Tower]
The tower is a circular building, its ceiling towering at least 30 spans overhead. Long tapestries hang from the walls, depicting fierce wars with differing participants and locals. Underfoot, thick carpets are scattered about the chamber, woven in somber tones of grey. In the floor's center, inlaid into the grey granite tile, is a green serpent rendered in vivid brown marble. Around the room's circumference stand iron braziers, from which smoke from exotic-smelling incense languidly curls up. You also see a black onyx door and a rent box.
Obvious exits: southeast

Mood Messaging: Some purple and black tendrils of smoke rise up into the air, as the faint scent of wolfsbane emanates from the iron braziers.

[Dark Tower, Study]
Tapestries have given way to bookshelves, stretching high overhead and filled with tomes in all colors of leather bindings. Tall slits of windows give narrow views of the surrounding countryside, a study of blowing snow and hazy mountains. Nestled in the stacks is an impressive hearth wrought of rough local stone topped by a carved modwir mantle. You also see a decrepit ebonwood armchair, a sloppy ebonwood desk with some stuff on it, a modwir credenza with some stuff on it and a basket of sticks.
Obvious exits: northwest, up

Cluttered with parchments, coins, and gems, the desk is quite a mess. There appears to be no order to this chaos.

On the modwir credenza you see a tureen of bone soup, a plate of sea thrak steaks, a decanter of Chastonian whiskey and a jug of fiery spiced rum.

Bookshelf, desk and mantle all hold items. Bookshelf and desk are closable and lockable with my key. Armchair is sitable

Mood Messaging: A faint hissing can be heard echoing off the tall walls.

[Dark Tower, Sleeping Chamber]
The room is opulently mantled in tapestries, which cover the granite walls in vibrant colors. They depict a series of battles, all from the distant dawn of history. The largest hangs in the center of the chamber, showing a fierce struggle between a flight of majestic drakes and a hideous swarm of demondim, which over-runs the countryside like a plague of insects. Opposite the arresting landscape sits a large four-poster bed, carved of modwir and draped with heavy, black velvet.
Obvious exits: down

You walk over to the bed and with a satisfying sigh, throw yourself down among its soft linens and fluffy pillows.
