The skillfully crafted jagged edge has been coated with pure silver, giving it a shining finish. Strands of garishly colored silk such as those a magician would use have been woven through the lacework of the basket hilt, and dangle from the hilt in such a way that while in use would move with the sword, creating arcs of color. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
