I gave up eating this shit several years ago. Today I had a cheeseburger and HOLY SHIT it did taste great but HOLY SHIT it made me violently ill.

That shit is just plain repulsive. My body rejected that nasty shit faster than a shart.

For me hands down it has to be Wendy's.

I can't handle McD's anymore, either. Burger King, too.

When we eat the fast food, it's Sonic.

I stopped being able to eat McDonald's cheeseburgers about 2 years ago. Their chicken wraps aren't too bad though.

Wendy's chicken sammiches are my favorite though.

Sean of the Thread

I can do Arby's as well.

Wendy's chucken and single stack I can stomach.

Subway tastes like shit but is cheap for the most part. If I do a sub it's usually Publix Deli.

BK and McD's is just garbage in my opinion. Like skeet said teh chicken wraps aren't bad tasting at all and won't make me sick but it's not like they're good for you as they pretend them to be.

Mmmm now I want an Arby's melt and a cherry limeade.

Whataburger breakfast tacos - FTW.

Sonic - #1 Cheeseburger, tots, vanilla coke. (enough caloric intake for 1 whole day's worth)

Becks Prime (Gourmet Burgers - Houston).

Chic-Fil-A - wraps, nuggets, grilled chicken sandwich.

Arbys - Beef'n'Cheddah boooyah!

Subway - BMT or Tuna

I used to like JnB super tacos, but it now does very bad things to my bowels. Very bad senor.

Today I had a philly cheesesteak for the first time in about 4 years. I'm feeling violently ill right now too. :(

My problem is I can't fit but half a meal now days for watever reason. Prolly my swollen liver and beer belly.

I usually have to split something with someone or it's a waste in my eyes. I pinch a penny like no other when it comes to food for some reason. But then I go impulsively buy something stupid right after.

Man KFC does look great but I'd rather goto a local chicken restaurant. Ever since I saw those KFC exposure videos I just can't stomach the thought of eating there.

That bowl of everything mixed up looks great to me tho. I'm a slop it all into a bowl and mix it up kind of guy. I've got like a viking sized bowl with my name engraved into it.

The PETA videos or have there been more?

and yeah, I generally can't justify eating out anymore. Mostly, because it makes me sick but also because I end up ditching at least half of what I get. During the week, I'm a 1 hard boiled egg at 4:30 and kale and chicken at 10 or whenever I get home kinda girl. I don't think it's all you though; restaurant portions are just huge too.

I'm a hard boiled egg man myself.

Most of my diet consists of tuna.. eggs.. salads and vegetables. DELICIOUS. Mmmm asparagus. DON'T FORGET SOUP!

I have meat several nights a week tho.. at least once. Usually a steak or chicken stir fry. Sometimes I be bad and have a nice hot italian sausage loaded with peppers and onions on a martins hoagie.

Fuck I'm hungry.

*One of my FAVORITE places to eat is Sweet Tomatoes.. not sure if you all have that but it appears to be a franchise salad bar with multitudes of other shit. All you can eat salad of all kinds.. but my favorite is the soups :) This month is pot pie month but I didn't get out there.

Everytime I eat McDonald's I have to take a massive shit within 5 minutes after eating it, sometimes before I'm even done eating.

Fuck McDonald's. I was looking at the back of their large fry box a while back and it has 8g trans fat. From what I understand, the general health consensus is something like "The best trans fat is ZERO, but if you must eat stuff with trans fat, it's best to not go above 4 grams per day."

Even the water at McDonald's has like 83g fat.

Althought it's just as unhealthy, Burger King rocks McDonald's. Whoppers are just awesome, and Sonic sucks fat greasy assholes except for their desserts.

I have a hard time eating anything on McDonalds menu however, I tried their fish filet sandwich recently and it was really, really good. Not like it used to be a long time ago. They've made some improvements in that at least. Everything else makes me ill.

Subway ftw. And don't know if it is just a pacific nw chain or not but Taco Del Mar is great. All fresh and prepared in front of you.

I've stopped eating at BK and Jack in the Box all together. They make me sick.

McDonalds coffee FTMFW. I get cravings for the nuggets, or grilled chx wraps.

Sonic breakfast burritos are good. Cherry Limade, another FTW.

Whataburger is too far.

Weinershnizel (spelled wrong, I'm sure), love mustard dogs with ketsup, pickle, and pretzel bun.

Taco Bell is close and great for quick and lesser of all evils for fast food near our house.

I'm tired of Subway, we eat it all the time at work.

Healthiest by far is prolly Kyoto Bowl, and we have a drive thru one by our house.

I find it hilarious how often Mike and I eat out. Here I have a culinary education, I know tons of awesome recipes and can whip them up, but when I get home the last thing I wanna do is cook.

Usually if we eat out we go to an actual restaurant and just get the specials-- we go to the local diner where they have awesome burgers-- real cheddar cheese, grilled sourdough bread instead of burger buns, and nice patties. Their omelettes are so amazing too.. I always get a cheddar, ham and broccoli omelette when we go there every Sunday and have never been disappointed. There's a local restaurant called J. Timothy's that's both upscale on some menu items and less pricey on others-- sometimes I'll just get a crock of their cheddar ale soup and then some toast.

If I'm out and HAVE to get fast food, it's usually either McDonald's or Taco Bell. At McDonald's I'll grab a McChicken or two as those are the only things that don't cause me stomach pain and they taste really good to me. At Taco Bell I always get a burrito supreme and am yet to be disappointed.

I work on not being lazy about making dinner but it can be hard-- lately I've been trying to just make everything in advance on Sunday and heat through the week, thank god it's winter because I do that mostly with soup (bean and cheddar soup, clam chowder, borscht, and vichysoisse were on the menu this week) and then I buy different meat and cheeses to grill up quickly into sandwhiches to have with the soup. It's cheaper and easier on the digestion system.

White Castle's burgers are called Sliders for a reason.

All of the people I met out here raved about Whitecastle burgers to me.. and when one of my friend's husband DRUNKENLY jumped from a car and broke his ankle because he NEEDED TO GO TO WHITECASTLE, I set myself up to be wowed.

Needless to say I was pretty disappointed... :/ Though I guess that happens to everyone about everything.

Never heard of Hot & Now though.

Cheddar, ham and broccali in an ommlette sound.. gross.

It's really, really good. There's some sweetness to the broccoli but it maintains a slight crunch and with the other flavors and textures, I just really like it.

Then again I have a major thing for vegetables that few people can understand. Present me with a candy bar or a bag of carrot sticks and ask me which I'd rather have and unfailingly I'd always go for the carrots, ha. I was raised as a vegan for many years though so maybe that has something to do with. However, I could never give up meat or animal products again.. eating a really good prime rib is like heaven on earth to me. I am weak when it comes to food-- and I'll admit I can be a food snob, especially concerning desserts. I just really, really enjoy flavorful, interesting food.. even if it's just a twist on a ham and cheddar omelette.

Most people can tolerate any food without stomach problems if they're conditioned to eat it enough. It's not neck soup, it's neck stew, usually made with giant oversized meatballs that'll have to cook a long time so the neck meat gets nice and tender. Admittedly, it sounds disgusting, but then so do most things in French food, especially when it's made by a coonass.

Chic-fil-a lemondade is awesome.

The rest is so/so but definitely not terrible. I used to enjoy the fries with their BBQ sauce and a plain sammich with a pickle ftw.

Raising Cane's has the best lemonade ever. I don't know if they have them outside of Louisiana but it rules.

Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Nevada, Nebraska, Mississippi, Minnesota, Kentucky, Georgia, Colorado and Alabama. But like one or two in each state. I know Cane's started on Chimes St. and spread from there.

And yes, their Lemonade rapes all others.

I still think Cane's is the best business story yet.

I've never herad of it, but the job has me all over Ohio so I'll have to find out where they're at and give it a try.

According to their website two are in Columbus; One at 1816 North High Street and one at 2823 Olentangy River Road. They have another in Gahanna at 1320 Hamilton Road.

Olentangy is right next to the stadium. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in C-bus

It's not "documented" in all stores as far as I know, but when you order your food make sure you bark WOOF WOOF!! really loud and you'll either get a discount or something free (usually a side order) depending on the store.

Let me know which free item they give you, I'm curious if it's different in each state.

The barking is for the dog, which the store was named after.

Setup or not... I'm just going to start barking after all of my food service orders. I don't want to risk not getting free food.

It's not free food, it's usually a visor or t-shirt which are big sellers around here believe it or not.

I guess my favorite fast food would be Wendy's classic bacon cheeseburger. Though, I -much- prefer the original Orange Julius's chili-cheese-dog with onions..but there aren't any of those left around here anymore, and the last one I did find used cheese sauce instead of real cheese like they used to. Very disappointing. For mall food I like those super-sized pretzels. With just salt, none of those stupid flavors or dips.

Mmmm mall pretzels, with butter and salt. And tons of packets of yellow mustard.
