Recipe tomes have a couple new functions that should make updating and organizing them a bit easier.
Firstly, you may now tear out pages. To rip out page 5, for example, you would TEAR TOME AT PAGE 5 or TEAR TOME AT 5. Be aware this would also remove page 4, since it's the same leaf of paper. Also be aware there is no way to add a torn page back to a tome, so you may not want to do this with your prized altered tome. Personally, I would use a generic shop-bought tome as a scratchpad to tear out recipes and distribute them, but do whatever you please.
Secondly, you may now also copy a recipe from another tome or a torn page. To do so, hold your tome in your right hand, a source recipe in your left hand, and WRITE TOME COPY recipeName. For example, WRITE TOME COPY TINCTURE OF ACANTHA, WRITE TOME COPY IRON WAND, or even just WRITE TOME COPY POTION. Specifying more of the recipe name obviously helps ensure you get the right one.
In addition to all of this, in the coming days and weeks there will be a bookbinder merchant coming around to alter tomes and re-sort the recipe pages in them, without all the ripping, as a special service. (Note that you now have the tools to build a tome the way you like it yourself.) Watch the calendar for times and places.

P.S. Did anyone know you can "flip table" or "flip toc"? I didn't.
