Adventurers!
Seeking new challenges? Need a little danger in your life? Does lots of silver peak your interest? Look no farther than the nearest Adventurers Guild. Good Pay, Flexible Hours, Orphans Preferred! Find out more! (http://www.play.net/gs4/info/adventure_guild.asp)
Shouldn't it be pique your interest? That annoys me.

No.

It wasn't really a question. It's pique, not peak.

Peak or pique works gramatically.

I guess it depends on if silvers are the most interesting thing to you or if it would just make your interest more heightened. At least they didn't use peeked....because then they would be asking for voyeurs.

Not 100% but shouldn't it be further? Look no further than AG?

yea, it's further.

Peak doesn't.

I live every day of my Gemstone life worrying that I will misuse effect and affect.
And I have night terrors involving the word discrete.

Pique might be a better word, but I don't see the issue with using peak.
Bobmuhthol

It makes very little sense. Interest can peak, but you can't peak interest (again, this is all relative to grammar as opposed to semantics).
Are you guys just really, really bored?

Watching a cookey turk for the next 4.5 hours. Hungover. Didn't get much sleep. Mild irritations are amplified today.

Aside from the fact that is the wrong spelling of the word, you are correct.

Sure it is.
"Pique" was misspelled when they spelled it "peak".
The same as "there" would be misspelled if it was supposed to be "their"

Uh, pique and peak are two entirely separate words. Your response to thefarmer makes absolutely no sense in context, especially with your explanation.

going along with misuse of vocab, I drove by a KFC the other day and wish i had a camera with me.. they had a whiteboard under it for the stick on letters or whatever the fuck they use.
KFC
were open
Maybe they were trying to get the WUR sound so it would be aimed to certain crowds or something...

Probably because your comprehension of the English language is clouded with shit...what with having your head as far up your own arse as it is.
"They're" "Their" and "There" are all entirely separate words. They sound the same (as with "pique" and "peak") so if you used the wrong one in the place of one of the others, you could reasonably assume that it was a misspelling.

For someone who claims to be an English expert, you sure as fuck don't know what context is.
What I really hate is when people use "chat grammer" IG. I hate to see "plz" and "OMG", or any other short-hand.
If you are going to play a text based, roll-playing game, you should have to write complete sentences with proper spelling at least. The only real exception is if you are playing a Giant or Dwarf, and you want to convey a "thick tongue" in the common language such as, "Aye, ah like tah go over der sometimes."
When you switch to your native tongue (giant or dwarven), you should speak proper giant or dwarven as in, "Aye, I like to go over there sometimes."
Just my 2-cents.

It's a lexical error. You're not spelling anything wrong, just using a totally different word.

That goes along with my hatred of the word loose when people are trying to say they are losing something.
"I loose things all the time!"
No, you idiot, you lose things all the time.
It's most certainly pique too. (Pique: to excite (interest, curiosity, etc.) Peak: the pointed top of a mountain or ridge. ;the pointed top of anything.
That kind of thing may not be perfect in something you are typing out quick, but you'd think people would at least qc something before they put it up on the main website.

You can correct people on that and correct people on that. They will continue to do it until the day they die.
