I'm wondering if the down-ward trend in silver prices will be reversed. I don't think it really can, save a large auction or something.

People keep undercutting each other, and then the average price lowers as a result. There needs to be a union or something!

Well, yes, another event right after Ebon that had a bunch MORE silver sinks coupled with people stopping selling out and things might go back up. However, they are cutting down on pay events, and as Tsin noted, there was not a 1 auction at this one.

Yeah not enough exit for silvers, and too much entrance. But then again this has always been an issue for GS.

Devaluation of silvers just means unique items go up in silver value. A 100m item two or three years ago should be a 140m item today.

Yes, but silvers aren't all that easier to get for players than they were at the beginning of GS4. If you don't merchant, and you don't have an MA silver farm, the devaluation of silvers is a serious blow to your chances of getting a nice item.
