Jesus fucking Christ, I forgot today was Veteran's Day. Omg. It's already like, 3:21 PM, jeeze.
I'm ... Going to send an usually large U.S.O. carepackage. Wow.

A) Where the fuck is the Confederate flag at?
B) Why the fuck is the Confederate soldier not in his C.S.A uniform?! I realise not many of the actual soldiers wore them, but the BILLY YANK ON THE LEFT SIDE IS IN HIS.
C) WHY IS THERE NO ONE ADVANCING THE FLAG OF DIXIE?!?!?!

Because the Confederates seceded. They didn't want to be part of this country, why should their flag be honored amongst our country's vets?

To all the soldiers serving overseas and in the homeland, thank you for all that you do.

So I sent two $25 care packages on the "official" USO website, except I'm used to actually stopping by like two or three local stores where they do the official send-off donation slip. Hopefully the online donation isn't shoddy business; it's all VeriSign though, so it seems legitimate.
Thank you. Boys and girls in blue.

Or Russian.
Most bars and restaurants around town had free drinks for veterans. I was on a pain train today EARLY AND OFTEN.
WOOT.

Same here. I got several free drinks today while crying at the Dolphins game. Oh well, at least you can make a good drinking game out of it. Take a drink or a shot whenever the Fins fuck up a play.... :(

I grew up a Dolphins fan with my dad. Being a Dolphins fan in upstate NY is always awesome at the bar on a Buffalo and Miami game.
Oh yea, Fuck Jim Kelly. Marino deserved a win.
Back to your regular Veterans' Day discussion.
Took some flowers to my grandfather's grave yesterday out at Veterans Cemetery with my son in tow.
Then we spent the day riding his new bike, playing in the park, and enjoying the freedom that so many have died in order to provide.
Thank you to all those that have and are serving in our nation's military.
