There are actually people who managed to get all 100? Wow.

I think Gretchen managed all but 4 at the last count.

I got all by 10. But I been giving them away. I don't want them at all.
I have the majority on your list, but I'm in Plat, sorry!

I think Gretchen managed all but 4 at the last count.
All but 6, currently, though a couple people have mentioned that they may trade or sell what they have.
Right now, my wanted list stands at...
a green-sheened ebon star diopside
a pointy ear-shaped topaz
a sphere of bruise-hued thunderstone
a vaalin-laced gold and perse feystone
an icy blue snowcat-shaped diamond
some intricate cat-etched obsidian
I've got a crap ton (technical term) to trade for them, so let me know if you're willing to part with any.

I have a bunch of those myself, for sure the snowcat diamond, diopside, and feystone.
I need to sort them out and give em away, as I don't really want them myself and am afraid if I DO keep them, I'll end up accidently selling them with my other gems all at once.

From what I heard from someone (I believe Malaekai), the digging gems can't be appraised in container deals, only individually. I haven't tested it myself to be sure, though. If so, they might not sell in container deals, either.

What exactly makes them special? Other than not being treasure dropped gems?

They're just gems, though they can also be put in the gem holding jewelry also sold at the festival.
That, and when I like stuff, I want to get the whole set. ;)

I'd imagine you could use them in the displaying jewelry from EG, or in rogue lockpick making, or just neat to have as something quasi unique.
I still have a shit-ton of the unique gems from the hunt for history myself. It's just cool to have neat stuff.
