At least say no.

Really, Gracy just happened to be the first person I addressed in the situation. And honestly, I didn't know much about her reputation at the time -- though in the back of my mind, I was thinking, "I've heard of this person before," so admittedly that may have colored my opinion.

I wouldn't say the OP singled out Gracy.. a lot of people asked for healing, no one got a response (should be a clear answer to everyone asking.. at least the ones that had been there a bit), and then Teavangelical said the bin would be eager to help, and then Gracy responded directly, singling herself out as usual.

If she doesn't get an answer for a healer and the bin doesn't have what she needs it's quite obvious she has two options... go buy the herbs, or die.

Mostly it's people sitting there refusing to help oneself in the least, spending longer time on asking someone for help than it would have taken just to eat the herbs and move on already.

Usually if it bothers me I honestly do try to ignore it or leave. But when you're resting at a node and seeing it all day long it's hard to do.

I'm tending to agree, but those days are past gone... there would definitely be crying foul if they were reverted.

A lot of people seem to be taking what Teavangelical did out of context... there were tons of people asking for healing, and none of them were getting a reply, obviously continued requests/singing was getting no where and Teavangelical essentially told them they were SOL by saying to check the bench, she did so reasonably politely at that considering the level of rudeness those asking were showing.

If it wasn't editted out it didn't even look like Gracy tipped. I generally ask once for healing, if I get no replies I'm either off to the herbalist/town healer or scrounging the bench.

It's also a perma sanctuary because all the empaths were crying to the GMs that they were getting stolen from left and right and there just was no way possible for them to prevent it or run one block west to deposit their silvers in the bank.

I'm not sure how important bounty points are though to the majority perhaps it wouldn't effect the amount of people who pick healing as much as I think.

You know, I recently started a few other characters just to learn the 'how to'. Empaths are a tough one to play. There is some etiquette only half follow, and though it is a great thing to participate in, it just doesn't work unless everyone does it. On top of that, half the time you never know which group is playing there to play by their rules. So the empath is forced to pick their play form or move from the main spot to find other areas to heal in or to hunt. Which actually works out great cause you can hunt and heal while resting. Sometimes you luck into a heavily hunted area end up hero of the day. Anyhow, these post are great examples of some of the stuff your forced to hear cause your in a highly populated area. ( That would be the landing, if I was to guess). I refused to hunt till after level 10, just to see if I could do it. Let me tell you, it was real tough.

On the other side of the coin,
In the last past month, I have hunted off and on with someone that pretty much has to be forced to go to a healer. The upside to this is, I now know where most of the major herbs in the landing area are grown. The down side is, herbs are heavy to carry around and it never fails you run out of the one you need the most, at the worse time.

It works out in some odd way. Personally, I think it is possible to be a pure, but chances are anyone who did play one would have a real tough time doing it. (Pro's and con's to all professions.)

Ah well, there is my 2 silver in tips.
