I considered listing all of the teams by names of teams that are in the same city... IE the Tigers over the Rockies.

Look at all the times Belichek went for it on 4th down...

...oh wait, he never did, and in the same situations as he did in earlier games? Huh! I wonder what the difference was?

Nice win. I would be worried if I was the Patriots, though. The Colts didn't have Harrison at all and only had Gonzalez a little and they still only lost by 4.

The situations were not the same. You don't go for it on fourth when the opposition can, and will, shove it down your throat.

Now, if you want to call poor sportsmanship on this game ... feel free.

Brady arguing time and time again with the officials, throwing a tantrum ... and the coup de grace, spiking the ball on the Colts 50 yard logo after forcing a turn over.

The last person that did that was called for unsportsmanlike conduct ... the Pats were lucky to only get a delay of game call.

Nice win. I would be worried if I was the Patriots, though. The Colts didn't have Harrison at all and only had Gonzalez a little and they still only lost by 4.

I don't keep up on DL lists, but didn't the pats have some people out as well ... I thought both teams were going in short.

None the less it was a pretty damn good game. If things hold true to history, the Pats will come out over the Colts post season. Hope they don't, but that's how it has gone for the past few seasons.

Richard Seymour played, which was the Pats only real concern going into the game, IIRC.

No worries, this just means the Bills can be the one to be giant killers in a coupla weeks.

...except, apparently, when they might lose the game if they fail to convert. What's it called when you purposefully score excess points that you don't think will impact the outcome of the game again?
I don't keep up on DL lists, but didn't the pats have some people out as wellNo one on the level of Marvin Harrison. (Sammy Morris being the biggest name.)

In any event, the recap!

11-2: RichardCranium, Sean2
10-3: Tsa`ah, Eschaton
9-4: Solkern, Augie, Latrinsorm, Apathy, Drinin
8-5: Anebriated, Gallows Thief, Ardwen, Skeeter, Celephais
7-6: Kembal, Bob, Silvanostar, Bisco
6-7: Sergey
3-10: Snapp

The top four have the Steelers for MNF.

Lol ... you're still comparing two completely different circumstances.

You call it running up the score, I call it rally prevention.

In any event, I don't see the Ravens pulling this one off and I'd rather go down 11-3 as opposed to 10-4.

Winna - Sean2!

Interesting things heard from ESPN:

Shula calling out Belichek: suggesting the MIGHTY ASTERISK OF DOOM!! (For the record I already suggested this to Bill Simmons for Brady's imminent TD record.)
The Colts (at 7-1!!!) are on their worst start of the last three years.
Tom Brady - the Dimpled Rogue!!!!

winner sean2 is all that needs to be remembered this week.

sean2 was a MAJOR MAJOR LOSER on Saturday. But somehow managed to bump the bank roll 20% on Sunday and Monday. I guess my picks reflect that here as well.

GOOD NIGHT NOW.
