Really? I only saw the previews and I was baffled to see Tom Cruise in there. I don't know what his character is so I can't tell if he's a sensible choice or not.

What did you think? Was he a good choice? How was his performance?

The previews I saw showed fighting. The movie is so much more than that.

Tom was the only choice for this role.

Fucking bastard made me mad and then later cry.

His performance should earn him a oscar

I was on the fence about seeing it or not. Your enthusiasm has convinced me to go see it. :)

It's a major diss to Samurai. There weren't any white people involved with the end of the Samurai.

That being said, it could still be a great movie.

Eh? you got snow down there? there's around nothing here and we're just a bit north than you.

And THERE'S FUCKING GOOD temperature expected, so bye bye snow...

That movie really looks awesome...

Actually, we're expecting a Nor'Easter in eastern New York and western New England. And it's been under freezing for quite some time. 3 feet of snow is the max predicted.

I'm taking someone to go see it tomorrow. Tickets got sold out for evening, so it's the matinee for us. Heh.

I really want to see it, but the problem is when they speak Japanese, they cut the English subtitles.

I had no problem with Kill Bill, but how Samurai talk and how people here today talk are not exactly the same... I hope I don't have too much trouble with it.

I'm pretty pumped to see it.

I saw the preview for this movie w hen I saw MAtrix: Revolutions... it didn't look so great. But t hat was probably because they made it out to look like it was a love story, and that's about it.

Go see it, it gets my stamp of approval.

If you think the title refers to Tom Cruise, you're wrong. Good movie.

This movie was great. It was like Braveheart Japanese style. I'm glad they kept the love story part down to a minimum, that shit nauseates me. On a side note, Japanese women are awesomel. That bitch wanted to kill herself out of shame that her husband died. That's true devotion to your man, take note ladies of America.

I just got back from seeing it. Overall was one of the best I've seen this year. The scary past is that most of this stuff is true. The "belly cut" when you dishonor your master among other things. Great movie.
