So I just downloaded this massive torrent with pretty much every ROM from Atari 2600 to Nintendo 64. Just unzipped the NES ones and fired up Super Mario Bros. and then Bionic Commando after it, and I'm noticing there's a pretty annoying delay from when I push the button to when it's actually input. i.e. I hit the jump button and there's a slight delay before Mario jumps, which is really annoying. The delay is there when I use both my gamepad and my keyboard, so the gamepad isn't the problem.

Is there something I can do to fix this? The emulator I'm using is called NNNesterJ 0.23.

Would trying another emulator like NESticle or something help? Or is this just a normal thing you have to deal with when dealing with emulators?

That delay is caused by the trojans being installed with every button pushed. It sucks but you get used to it.

Just try using different emulators. Some work a lot better than others. Not sure about NES ones, but ZSNES is good for SNES games.

I like JNes for NES games.
