Can anyone share the latest on sorcery stats and training these days? Going for a pure runestaff using dark elf.

Went through a lot of posts here but some of them seemed a little dated and there was a lot of conflicting ideas. With how much things have changed since I last played, I thought I'd ask here.

Starting from level 0:

AUR 90 (+10 for 100 to start with)
WIS 90 (ditto)
INT 80
LOG 80
DI 70
DEX 60
AGI 60
STR 50
CON 40
INF 30

Training plan:
Physical Fitness - 1x to max health
Armor Training - Get 8 trains for doubles
Arcane Symbols 1x
Magic Item Use 1x
Spell Aiming 2x
Harness Power 2x
Elemental Mana Control 1x
Spirit Mana Control 1x
Sorcerous Lore - Demonology 1x
Sorcerous Lore - Necromancy .5x
Spells 2x (3x when possible)
Perception 1x
Climbing .25x
Swimming .25x

Does the above work? I've read some of you here say not to double HP and some swear by it. Also, what is a good spell plan? Go to 414 and then get go to 120 or visa versa? Seems like going the spiritual route first costs some DS for a while?

What's the general suggestion for getting through the first 10 levels while mana isn't so great? Train OHE and shield first to kill rats with and then migrate skills before the 30 days on the new character is up?

Bingo.

For the 30 day period, I would do OHE/shield, don't even bother training in Sorcerer spells for the moment. Go for the good defenses first, then when the 30 day is up, lose all the OHE/shield stuff, and catch up on your sorcerery spells.

Also, during the grace period, I would do stat reallocation and lose the aura/wisdom for now. Jack up your strength and other relative stats so you have a kick ass AS while you're not casting. Just make damn sure you reset everything before the 30 days is up.
