The vision changes and you find yourself carefully stalking your prey as it unsuspectingly moves to a small brook, pausing to take a drink. With all the sleekness and grace of a wild cat, you leap from the grass, your razor sharp claws digging deeply into the caribou's haunches. Its blood-flecked flanks brings forth extra bursts of energy as bloodlust fills your veins. You dig down deep into the muddy brook, your muscles tighten and a feral growl escapes from deep down in your gut.
Tayvon lets out a horrifying growl.
Exhilaration extends to every fiber of your being. The lust for the kill and the yearning of fresh blood overrides every emotion in your body. Leaping through the air, claws extended, you land once again atop your prey, ripping its throat open. Painless and quick, the caribou falls to the ground before it ever knew what hit it. Eyeing your victory, you begin to relax for a moment. Without a second thought, you drag your conquest to a nearby tree where you leisurely indulge upon its flesh.
Tayvon licks his lips.
With every bite of the caribou meat, your vision begins to fade. You can still, however, feel your hearting beating quickly and you can still taste the blood of the kill upon your lips.
Tayvon eyes open wide as his face turns white.
