Alright, to prematurely politicize this:

Anyone who served/serves/will serve who actually uses these recurring TV ads as their epiphany moment and simultaneous source of enlightenment and inspiration as to what their military duties have or will become seriously deserve whatever it is that they have coming to them.

I mean that in the absolute best sense possible, too.
