Civ 4

So, I downloaded this game from the Direct 2 Drive website because imagine that I'm too lazy to go to the store and get a copy. Anyway, I'm having two problems one I can't get online and play anyone and two when I boot the game up it offers me an update when I download it it says it can not be installed because it cannot find civ 4 on my computer. :wtf:


If anyone here plays civ 4 and can help me out I'd appreciate it.

direct 2 drive sucks.. It's always cheaper but always fucks up.

You weren't very descriptive about your problems, add in a few more details. The game is offering a patch, are you sure it's the right one? I'm pretty sure that D2D games need special patches, designed for D2D games. A quick google will help you find them, I'm sure. You can't get online, why? What is it saying?

The NO CD key doesn't work for online play, unless you have the upgraded patch.
