smoking three weeks ago... the sound of a doorbell has been really fucking annoying to me the last couple of days.
On the tv.. on the radio.. my own doorbell... just fucking hate it. It almost induces an anxiety attack.
How fucking bizarre is that.

I haven't had a single craving.
It's not my nerves but rather an odd coincidence that I thought I would share.

Kind of odd but both my boyfriend and his mother experienced similar things when they quit smoking.
Mike couldn't stand the sound of a car starting- something about it grated on his nerves like fingernails on a chalkboard.
His mother got really annoyed at the clink of any dishes together. She had to do dishes with music blasting or else have someone else do it and leave the room.
Both subsided though.

My dad went from smoking 2-3 packs a day to quitting cold turkey. And he had the same problem with the dogs "squeeky" toy. Any time the dog would play with them he would get so pissed off to the point he cut them all up to stop making the noise. I haven't been to his house in over a year now, but that was sometime last year.

Umm, squeeky toys are annoying as hell to begin with...that must have sucked. Good job quiting, keep it up.

Word the fuck up.
You should pack lips with the beer though, better than messing up your lungs, maybe.

August 16 is my quit date. Unexpected noise always bothers me, always did. No worse than usual since I quit though. Maybe you just suck at quitting.

Funny, Sean, didn't see the requisite "waaah, waah, I'm quitting" thread.
