So, log into game, play for a few hours. Log out.

Log back into game, all of the building structures are invisible. Log out and in several more times to see if it is "fixed". Nothing.


WTF is going on here? Is this on my end or on Blizzard's end?

I'm guessing your end. sounds like video card or memory issues.

Check the Blizz tech support knowlegdebase. The standard answer is to delete your WTF and WDB folders.

If it was my video card wouldn't I be having problems from the get-go? I was playing fine for about four hours and then logged off, only to log back in with this problem.

maybe it went bad during that time. Have you tried Blizzard tech support?

Blizzard will tell you to, Delete all your addons

it's their answer for all problems, seriously

Delete Add-Ons, reload.

Delete WTF Folder, reload.

Uninstall, reinstall, reload.

Cry.

Chances are good it is one of your add-ons, as 2.3 was kinda...sloppy. I have also seen brief moments of chopping, but nothing as severe as an entire city. Sometimes my portraits go bugged and greys turn into bosses and health bars don't go down etc. I know its my addons, but I can't live without em.

Okay, so I got it fixed. It was rediculous. I had to go into one of the files and change some number in this string of code.
