Hi Gemstone Community!
It is I....Barumples! Anyway if some of you didn't know I work for a clothing company now hence my complete lack of playing gemstone lately. We been doing great and are even sponsered by Def Jam Records - they been helping us promote the clothes through various artists like Twista, Uncle Murda, Fabulous, Freeway, and etc! Business is booming and we don't know how well our connection is with Def Jam so we wanted to do a couple things on our own without there help.
Here's a little info on what I need.....
Here are a couple of links defining what the Hoodman company is all about just incase you would like a little background.

Eddie Huang the CEO and his artists have already completed the graphic packages and are just interested in a programmer for an e-commerce site. It's a four page job ontop of a splash designed page.
The pages that need to be programmed -
splash
navigation
shop
info
comic book page
They will need admin accounts where they can also easily upload images/blogs/etc throughout the webpage. This system needs to be very very newbie-user friendly to the point tha its as easy as uploading an image on photobucket/snapfish/imagestation/etcetc and where they can select the exact location where it will be sent/uploaded to on the webpage.
If you have any other questions please feel free to email me at either of these emails
jae-ahr@nyc.rr.com
jaeahr@tmobile.com
or you can IM me at juniorpinoy
Please also add any info/links/etc to any previous work you have done as well as a price quote
Thanks again!

A well designed, fully funcitonal page will not be newbie-user friendly (on the back end).
They either need to do something with like Yahoo! Pagebuilder (LOL) or let a web master do his job and administer the web page, giving him or her the images they wish to upload and where they want them to go.

I'm pretty sure he answered your question with his original post.. and yes a good web designer COULD set up permissions for easy uploads.. noob

Maybe I misunderstand what he's trying to accomplish. If they want like the ability to create albums and shit, then yeah sure that's easy. But if they want to like edit content of the website and move shit around, then that's different. Unless the website is going to be ugly and boring, then yeah sure a noob (like Jayvn) can do it.

Actually, with an appropriate content management system, they could easily add new products, photos, etc. with a minute learning curve.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL THE REPLIES/EMAILS/INSTANT MESSAGES/TEXTS!
Really appreciate the help from the PC/GS Community
Sorry to inform everyone but we found someone to do our webpage! We were such in a rush our launch date was/is set for November 1st. I'll be contacting everyone that was interested to let them know the news when I get a chance.
Sorry I haven't been ingame for awhile. I been so busy with school/work/this company that I haven't had time for anything. I been paying for my GS accounts and WoW accounts for the past God only knows how long and not even ever logging on.
I do miss everyone as well as GS! I need to login sometime this week ( I'm on vacation from my job for 14 days!) I'm gonna sell all my belongings for like a silver a piece so stay tuned! I'm uber excited about this week. We have a meeting with XXL and King magazine this Friday. We're gonna be in their December issues!
Thanks to the person on Psinet (name escapes me) awhile back too. Someone had referred me to this fashion/clothing convention called "Magic" that was on psinet. We didn't get a chance to go to the NY one but we did go to the one in Las Vegas and are going to another on in February. The Magic convention really got our stuff out there.
P.S. rofl!11!1pancakez!!and a 1/2!!11 at that comment about yahoo page builder.

Just stirring the pot in a friendly fashion.
/Also my condescending way of saying I'll miss his stankin' rolton-y ass, even though no time is needed so far as a business schedule goes when one is concerned with employment in the Hip-Hop industry, heh.
How trisomy 21 is you, Xyelin?

I gotta say that reading your owner, ceo, whatever's interview just re-enforced how ignorant this whole gangster culture really is... but I have to give him props for exploiting the shit out of it.

"Hoodman is here to challenge and satisfy audiences aesthetically and intellectually. Clothing provides a canvas for commentary on the underdog experience and a presentation of issues that are passed over by commercial outfitters. Unlike other conscious brands, Hoodman is aware that a balance needs to be struck between educating and entertaining. We combine a high quality product with idiosyncratic commentary and progressive design."
That's off one our presskits that we send to potential buyers.
It's funny because when we first came out a lot of people downplayed us for being so socially/politically conscious. Now they are all biting our stuff. We're a year ahead of the game! The "urban streetwear" industry has really gone down the drain though and we're trying to change all that.
Anyway! We have a weblaunch party in NYC on November 9th!
www.hoodman.tv
is LIVE and UP as far as a day or two ago! But it only has our flyer on it right now and our catalog/linesheet.

The venue we got hosts 400-500 people! So come support us
P.S. to Stanley Bee
I got to meet Jeru the Damaja the other day! ( i hope you know who that is or at least you should ) My penis was hard like a 13 year old boy. I invited him to the party and he may be performing.
