I tend to see more elven bards than anything else, so I can't imagine that is an issue.

If the character has a lame name, I would rather just keep leveling my little bard. ;)

That being said, I don't think 3 specifications constitutes "tons." heh

This bards total are 51, but it would be 53 in a couple trains. Stats were placed for maximization so they will grow pretty fast.

I still havn't seen many bards up for sale compared to other classes, but I guess my 35 years of gemstone experience is failing me.
