Bashing Boxes

Anyone know how many traps destroys all the contents of the box if set off and the frequency of these traps? Also how deadly are they when you set it off by bashing?

Just off the top of my head, glyph traps (unless they're a wooden box and you're holding them as you head smush them [50+ bashing ranks]) flechette, boomers...

Early on (pre-50ish) I bashed a lot of my own boxes, it set off traps about 40% of the time. And about 20% of the time either killing me or destroying the box.

It just isnt worth it. I already had 1x perception in my training, now I 1x disarming too and I can pretty much disarm everything I find.

If you double disarm and get some self cast disarm enhancement you can pretty much disarm 90% of the boxes out there. Otherwise, you'll be getting about 40-50 % of boxes 1xing at higher levels.

Interesting... 78 ranks and I rarely find a blighted forrest box I cant open with lore.
