I don't know if it's the phase of the moon, or because this is my last day on this rotation... but I'm feeling sentimental.

I thought it might be an interesting thread to bring up where our former players and GMs are now. Feel free to post on yourself or friends...

Simu-Melissa - Last I heard she stepped down at Simu to take that job at WoW. Was wondering if anyone keeps in touch with her.

Mustafo - Kickass player. Later went on to GM at UL, and I lost touch with him.

X S0nic, Original Alfador, Dan - Another kickass player and one of the original members of the PC. I spoke to him via EMail a week or so ago. He is currently fighting for our country in Afghanistan under the Air Force.

GM Voraviel - As was hashed out last week, recently left GS staff. Hope he's doing well in whatever he is doing.

GM Metaephor\Aephir - Stepped down a while ago... 98, 99 maybe? Was working on his own line of MUDs under Aephir's Den\Aeternity. Those fell through during alpha. No idea what he's doin.

GM Altiron - After leaving for a while as a GS GM, he is now (and has been for like a year) back on staff as an HJ GM

Anyways, just a few to start off.

Those are just a few I wanted to get flowin.

I'm interested in hearing if anyone has heard about the following: GMs Giacomo, Kuromaku, Sayzor, Mikos (might still be on staff), Banthis.
Players of Dizman, Dissipate (the original), Leriko, Jesh, Dratel, hundreds more.

I was wondering the other day what happened to the player of Groggle.

Mustafo's player no longer GMs at UL.

I worked for Aephir a little while ago. Ian's game fell apart, but he's working with some major gaming developer now or something.

Jesh was spotted in Platinum recently.

Doesn't Mustafo still play? I could have sworn I've seen him post on the rogue boards, unless his account was bought.

I'm fairly certain he was not bought. I seem to remember him coming back for a short bit after he left UL, but that might have just been on AIM.

I think Jesh plays Plat...though not, I believe, as Jesh any more.

Heh, I remember running into Jesh when plat first opened. Good times.

Well, he's not listed...

But Ozias stepped down as GM due to life in general. He had a baby! Woot! Anyway, he says he's gonna try to return, but no eta.

Jesh pops in every now and then in Platinum, he almost always robs someone on each log in too! I've seen him in about 5 times total over the course of a year during the hours that I play.

Wasn't Aephir's game called ROE (Realms of Exile)? I remembered his idea he posted about making a High Voln area. Was a pretty sick idea.

Melissa posted on these boards not too long ago.

Melissa is hard at work drafting a new and improved Letter to Parents.

It will totally trump her old letter to parents, in every way. It will blow your mind.

I think it was Aeternity.

Didn't Realms of Exile become Unwritten Legends?

What happened to Ophion?

Sort of, RoE was run by a guy named Noah (who went by Thalior at first, but he wasn't Thalior from GS) and turned into Unwritten Legends when it turned out another game had the Realms of Exile copyright. Ian started there I think but split off to do his own thing.

What happened to Ophion?

He's on a quest to reclaim the throne to Hell

Fawn - passed away

Aelsidhe - passed away

Simu-Melissa - Production manager for Blizzard. She's doing just fine.

GMs Giacomo - Fawn's friendship with Kuromaku turned his position into one of politics, and he was stripped of his authority to make certain changes as being unbalancing. Decided to focus on school and quit.

Kuromaku - implemented many of Giacomo's changes, quit because of pressure from player community.

Sayzor(Bleeds) - removed from staff, not on his own terms.

Banthis - left shortly after his relationship with Llearyn(Melissa) was over.

Dizman - he is now a GM

I miss Fawn, she was a great person. Melissa was/is a fucking cunt. As for GM's, Romulus was awesome, Stump was my favorite (always gave me a stogie), and the last one escapes my mind. Never heard what happened to either of them.

Melissa was/is a fucking cunt.

-Why diss her womanhood though. Could have just as well said -she was an idiot or a asshole- or something similar. Its always the little things.

The original Dizman from Yonkers is a GM? Wow.

I thought Banthis's GM chick was another name... the one that developed the EN.

Didn't Nebtwee play Stump?

EDIT: WAit no, that was Spike. Stump was his own thang.

Banthis's female companion was the she who shall not be named who designed the EN, not Melissa (though the two GM names sound similar). He was cool. His companion was...not.

Fucker... I can't remember her name. She had that 1050 contest that NEVER went anywhere.

She who must not be named was named Lyredaen.

Makkah

Sayzor didn't play Bleeds, didn't he play Sagan?

I remember reading somewhere that the player behind Bleeds was involved with the development of Lord of the Rings Online and that was a few years ago. I wonder what he's up to now.
