View Full Version : scriptable hunting
What creatures are particularly suited for script hunting? Ideally, they don't hit hard for their level and do not have maneuver based attacks (as those are the most random and therefore hardest to plan around)
At low levels, obviously rats are great. Into the teens, werebears in solhaven are perfect.

Well, I'd say the absolute best ones need a CS and AS you can avoid with self-cast spells without stance-dancing. No attacks that hit without a visible d100 roll (maneuver etc) so you don't get hurt. They should be slow, and you should be able to overpower them quickly or efficiently. They shouldn't be non-existant most of the time but they also shouldn't swarm like crazy. Nothing that is a bit tough to code like being disarmed.
Lesser Vruul were pretty good in that regard for me... as a sorcerer, FM takes a while but it's easy to script and you don't need to be in any stance or anything. At higher levels or with swingers I'm sure it's more difficult to do it properly.
