How do I get websites to stop prompting me this? I have tried everything. I have turned off every security feature and accepted every cert. out there. STILL NOTHING.

Go to security, uncheck the box for warn when switching between secure and not secure mode?

That's a different warning message you get when entering/leaving SSL, he's having a problem where a secure page (My guess is https://www.gmail.com (https://www.gmail.com/)) has a non-secure img or the like. The mixed content security setting he just needs to change.

(That's IE6... but it should be in/about the same area in IE7)

Oh and you might have to close all your open IE windows afterwards, not sure...

I was getting fed up with the same issue, since every single page on play.net site prompts me with that same warning. It was bareable because I don't go to the site often, but it was a huge pita when I did. Thx Celephais, all better now.

I love you.

And it was happening for like 5 sites I went to often.

One thing you can do if you want to still get this warning on most sites but want to turn them off for play.net and gmail.com is to add those sites to your trusted sites, and change this option in JUST the trusted sites, leaving "internet" security options the way they were.

You can also set it to disabled instead of enabled... it'll kill the popup just the same, but won't open you up to as nasty a crosssite hack on a site with poor security.
