Wondering if anyone has an interest in NRL? Noticed there's not much action on here for rugby in general - which is a bit surprising as there's handy money to be made...mainly on hcap betting

Had some good success last year on NRL. Week 5 of the new season begins tomorrow.
Main bet for the weekend is Manly Sea Eagles +6.5 4/5 with Bet365

Kudos to the Starship Troopers reference. Ever want to see a big POS movie....Go see Starship Troopers 2. It got so bad I was just watching it in fast forward to see boobies.

the original starship troopers is still the most violent movie I've ever seen.

1. I actually saw it in the movie theater, though by accident.
2. I left with a stomach ache from the violence
3. I thought it was hilarious
4. I was surprised it didn't receive an NC 17 just for the violence.

I'm re-topicing this thread to starship troopers.

I took a class in college on film*, and we watched Starship Troopers because of how amazing it is cinematographically, the propaganda type film in it is all throwbacks to the way the russians were using film as an advancement of state goals, despite the ridiculous "summer action flick" story and acting, the shots and context of the whole thing makes it a well respected piece for those artsy types .

*this was an intro course... I know nothing about film

The only thing that would have made that flick better would have been a make out scene between Denise Richards and the other lead chick, kind of like Wild Things with Denise and Neve.
