The Scott Peterson jury deliberates for the second day in a row. He could even get the death penalty. Discuss.

I'm not 100% sure he's guilty, but I'd lean toward that. There really isn't enough evidence to convict him though, it's all circumstancal, you can't kill someone on that kind of evidence. My guess is he'll be found innocent, or at least it will be a mistrial. If I was on that jury there is no way I'd deliver a guilty verdict.

Looks like most think he's guilty but that he'll get off.

He didn't even need a Kato.

I think if all the jurors were rational, fair people, you might be right, Drew. Some of them might find him guilty simply based on the fact that he's proven to be such an asshole. It'd be a miscarriage of justice if they were to find him guilty based on that, but my gut feeling is that he's guilty anyway - so it'd all be a wash.

I totally missed this one being in Japan.

It's okay... I'll always have fond O.J. memories.

White O.J. anyone?

Where is the 'I'm just happy it's over so it's off TV' option?

I hate how America takes certain cases and makes it some production.

You mean to tell me this is the first pregnant woman to ever be murdered and her husband is a suspect?

fuck all that. dude's mistress testified. if he's not guilty than OJ was really innocent.

Its unfortunate, but sadly I think he will get off. Too many trials go that way these days. And the jury deliberating for such a long time doesn't make things better. I mean if they thought he was guilty, wouldn't they just say so?

Isn't this the same guy that changed his hair color and was well on his way to Mexico at some point during the investigation? If he wasn't guilty he sure did a fine job of making himself appear to be.

He was just golfing.

And ignore the fact that he upgraded his cable twice to add more and more porn when his wife was missing.

My stance at this very moment is ...

I think he is innocent until proven guilty.. isn't America great.

Touché pussy cat!

Yep, the guy (both) is 100% guilty.

Well, he's bright enough to think he can fool people into thinking he was fishing for marlin in an eensy little aluminum boat, I guess he probably thought he could get away with the whole shebang.

Also, he told his mistress that his wife was dead (before she went missing). Nice touch.

This is one case that I haven't really been following. I guess I should watch more hard copy. Has there any forensic evidence to link Scott to the murder?

I saw a little of it on court tv at a bar because some girl wanted to watch it on her lunch break, but he seems guilty as shit.

Lil things like he claimed to have made 1 concrete anchor but they found 4 concrete anchor indentations at his residence.

Did he really claim to be fishing for MARLIN? or is that a joke?

No, he seriously said that's what he was going fishing for. If he had actually caught one (if he had actually been fishing for them), it would have capsized his boat.

I think he's guilty, but they didn't get much evidence on him.

I can really see people on the jury saying he's guilty just because of circumstances like that. Guilty or not we all know that mistakes happen in our justice system. If he's not guilty you almost hope that one of those mistakes falls squarely on his head.
