Guy makes an electric motorcyle that can go 0-60 in 0.97 seconds, attempts to do a burnout and crashes into a parked van... what an idiot.

Fucking fast bike though... damn.

(Sorry I didn't bother to copy the actual article, it's boring, and the site has some obnoxious javascript that makes it a pain to copy/paste, the video is worth watching... skip halfway if you want to skip his explination of what it is).

Lol I was totally expecting something not as violent as that. I was all ready to laugh my ass off at a silly incident than BAM.

You think more safety precautions would be taken during a filming of something like this. I'm curious to know how/why the van was there (or how no one noticed it?).

That aside, pretty scary

Well it was supposed to be a burnout - the bike shouldn't have moved.

He probably didn't have a line lock or something...

The guy didn't know what he was doing either. He said he normally doesn't drive the thing.

He also wasn't wearing a helmet... he doesn't normal operate the bike... he named it a Killacycle... and it's a 400hp engine on a 600lb bike w/ no need to rev up to RPM ... easy work for Lord Darwin. Surprised Darwin missed...

Did he get a speeding ticket for doing 159mph down a sidewalk?

Wow. Either he let go of the front brake or it failed, that was ridiculous. Sometimes on a bike when you are scared you try to grab the front brake but end up squeezing the throttle more.

Oh that is totally a Darwin runner's up or honorable mention. I'm glad he wasn't hurt worse though. When I heard his description of the bike and then saw him get on without a helmet or leathers I was expecting way worse.

Rofl I've sooo tweaked the throttle before when I meant to brake. Everyone has to do that a few times at least.
