NCAA Football 08 or Madden 08

So I'm looking for a new title for the 360, and seeing how I don't have a football game yet there we go. I know a few of you out there have a 360, and either own or have played both games. Which one do you think is better overall, has better features, etc etc. I've heard that the college experience on the field kind of stinks in NCAA 08, no bands, chanting, etc. So give me your opinions if you have any on either game. Or if theres another title out that you think is better, bring that one up also.

There are bands and chanting but NCAA still lacks a bit. I would say get whichever one you prefer IRL. I have both, they are both fine, I prefer NCAA.

Forgot to ask this one also...are turnovers as bad as I've heard and read about? People are saying you can end up at like 10-12 turnovers a game. That seems a bit too much to make the game really fun....

In year 3 of my NCAA dynasty I think one of my senior CBs has 20+ career picks over the 1st 2 years (injured for the season during the 3rd)

I prefer NCAA, but I've got friends who swear by Madden.

You can change the turnover frequency if it's too high for your taste.

I bought madden about 3 weeks ago, played it once. I put it right back in the case and gave it to my friend. It's the worst football game I ever played.

Turnovers are ridiculous in NCAA. I get intercepted WAY too much and I intercept the ball way too much. Fumbles are pretty ok, but if you use the juke stick too much they can go high. I can't adjust the sliders because there's a bug/feature that doesn't let you get the achievements if you do. Once I finish my final two dynasty achievements I'm turning them way down.

Also, online play consists solely of running the option/triple option with a fast WR at QB and a fast RB.

Thats the reason I only play with people that I know in any game. Forza 2 is really bad for children trying to wreck people. Spawn campers in various games, etc etc...


Went out and picked up NCAA about an hour ago, throwing it into the machine at some point tonight to check it out.

Yeah I'm with you Bisco, I do the same thing, hate that in forza too.
