So this has been in production for a while. Supposedly, filming is nearing completion with a release date set for May.
The GF informed me that the name was announced on the VMAs tonight.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Sounds like something to do with Central America or South America, etc. Just thought it was cool the title had finally been announced.
Can't wait for the trailer.
Also: No Sean Connery :-/

Starring Harrison Ford again? He's like 100 years old now...

Although he has aged pretty well. That or the makeup people did a good job in this pic: http://www.movieweb.com/news/15/22615.php
I don't think it'd still have the magic without The Ford.

Harrison Ford is still Indiana Jones. Shia LaBeouf (the kid from Transformers) is the lead so I'm not sure what role he's playing yet. Perhaps his son, who knows.

Yeah Marion (Karen Allen) is back, along with her father Abner, whom I thought was dead, so that should be interesting.
Too bad Chuck Norris is as old as Harrison Ford.
Now that would be one bad ass Indiana Jones.

I hate Chuck Norris. He is acting is as bad as Segals, and Indiana Jones has to have some charisma. He has to be able to tell jokes and make witty comments.
The truth is, if Kucher were a bit older (and his acting had improved with age) he could pass.

Dude, that you even consider Kutcher a possible future choice as Indiana Jones has lowered my opinion of you considerably...
...I know you're crushed. But that feeling will soon pass into a numbness of thought and emotion.

Lucas is the executive producer for this one, so he won't be taking part in the story.
I can just see Samuel L Jackson as Indiana Jones.

That makes me cry, especially if you remember his role as the hopeful, but lame sidekick to Keanu in Constantine. I mean, if you can't out act Keanu even in a supporting role, then you shouldn't be in a film.
Let us not forget his standup role in the movie "Holes!"
No worries, maybe he'll get a couple more Kids Choice Awards from Nickolodean

4-13-2007 Shia LeBeouf, one of the fastest rising starts in the world of film has now been set for the new Indiana Jones movie, it was announced today by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.
Evidentally he's doing something right. Not that those two directors know anything about film making...

George Lucas did have a large hand in casting Hayden Christensen for Revenge of the Sith, and unless you forgot, did a horrid job playing anything but a whiny little bitch.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for Spielberg, even though he did do that monstrosity known as Transformers with it's imfamous cast of one dimensional characters.
But do try to remember that this isn't politics, people with the most money aren't by that virtue better than everyone else.

Considering roughly half of the critic reviews were negative, and even the average viewed gave it little better kind of proves your point is bunk.
I prefer my movies to not be a dressed up kiddie flick with adult innuendos.
